For a couple of weeks, the two couples couldn't agree on when to have the wedding but eventually agreed to have a summer wedding that August. Veronica and Betty both agreed on each getting to choose one bridesmaid, a junior bridesmaid, and one flower girl while the boys each got to choose one groomsman and agree on a ring bearer and best man. Veronica and Betty went dress shopping while the boys went suit shopping.
The girls were so excited to get their wedding dresses. They promised to help each other decide on a dress. They must have tried on twenty dresses before they finally found the dresses that made them both smile super bright and get super excited.

They paid for them with their credit cards and went back to their respective homes.
"So, how was dress shopping?" Jughead asked, smiling at his beautiful fiancee.
"It was amazing. Veronica and I each found a beautiful dress for the wedding." Betty said smiling at her handsome husband-to-be.
"That's amazing Betts, actually Arch and I each found a perfect suit for the wedding." Jughead told her.
"I can't believe we're getting married Juggy." Betty said blushing.
"I can't believe it either Betty." Jughead said slightly looking away.
They went to Pop's to meet up with Archie and Veronica to decide on a venue for the wedding. After about half an hour of bickering, they finally decided to get married at the SOQM (Sisters of Quiet Mercy). They also worked out a menu for the reception. They decided on beef or salad for the adults and for the kids chicken nuggets or salad. Pop's offered to cater the wedding and both couples agreed to have Pop cater the wedding reception. Then they all exchanged goodbyes as they went back to their respective homes.
Betty started thinking about designing wedding invitations and Jughead helped her design a few. After a few hours of invitation designing, they came up with a few that they really liked and sent them to Archie and Veronica to look over. The next day they were going to go cake tasting to decide on a wedding cake for them and the day after that Archie and Veronica were going to go cake tasting to pick out their cake. They all decided to do two cakes for each wedding party.
Betty and Jughead went to bed an hour later. Jughead fell asleep right away but Betty was so nervous about the wedding and how everything was going to turn out that she couldn't sleep. So she just lied in the bed with her eyes open imagining the worst. Jughead could sense that Betty hadn't fallen asleep after an hour and woke up.
"Betts, what's wrong?" Jughead asked, concerned about his fiancee.
"I'm just so nervous about the wedding. I'm worried about how things will turn out that I just can't sleep and my mind is imagining the worst." Betty told him while she was sitting up and pulling her knees to her chest.
"Betty. Why didn't you tell me you were nervous and worried?" Jughead asked her.
"I didn't want to worry you Jug." Betty said with tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
"Hey. We're going to get through this together. Just like we always do. Yes, we have our flaws. But that's not going to stop us from loving each other Betty. I love you. I'm here whenever you need me, Betts." He said, wiping tears from her face.
"Really?" Betty sniffled.
"Of course. I'll always be here for you Betty." Jughead smiled, pulling her into his arms.
"I love you, Juggy." Betty said.
"I love you too Betty." Jughead said while rocking Betty back and forth and rubbing her shoulders with his thumbs.
Betty eventually fell asleep in Jughead's arms. He slowly laid Betty down on the bed and he fell asleep beside her with a smile on his face.
