Betty and Jughead continued to investigate Archie's motive to destroy the town of Riverdale. They were pretty sure that the divorce with Veronica and the loss of custody over his daughter was the motive. Their main question was how he would do it.

"I just don't understand how Archie would be able to do this." Betty said with concern in her eyes.

"I know." Jughead said pulling Betty into his arms.

Betty took a deep breath and relaxed. Jughead always knew what to do to help her.

"Tell you what? Why don't the four of us go to The Five Seasons for a few days for a mini vacation. That way we wouldn't have to worry about leaving town and letting Archie get away with this. Besides, it's been a while since we've had some quality family time." Jughead told her.

Betty knew he was right. She told him that she agreed with him. They told the kids to pack a bag with three days worth of changes of clothes. They naturally asked why. Betty and Jughead explained to them that they were going to The Five Seasons for a mini vacation and quality family time. The kids were excited and rushed to get their bags packed to go, as they were leaving the next day. Of course, Betty and Jughead checked their bags to make sure that they had everything, then packed their own bags. They all left their bags by the front door for the next morning. Kacey and Collin desperately wanted to go to Pop's that night, but Betty looked at the time and said that she had to say no to Pop's. The kids were naturally disappointed but ultimately understood because it was getting late. They were both admittedly sleepy and couldn't stifle their yawns. Jughead and Betty kissed the kids goodnight. Jughead got Collin into his pajamas for the night, read to him and made sure that he was asleep. Betty did the same with Kacey. Both Jughead and Betty weren't tired because they were still trying to figure out how Archie would be able to destroy the town. After about an hour Betty's eyes began to droop and she began to lean her head against Jughead's shoulder. Jughead noticed this and suggested that she try to get some sleep while continued to look over the board for a while longer. Betty suggested that they both get to bed for the night since they were getting up early the next day to go to The Five Seasons. Jughead agreed so they both got changed and crawled into bed. Betty scooted as close to Jughead as she could and he wrapped her in his arms to help her sleep that night. Betty fell asleep immediately. Jughead was half awake so he just rubbed Betty's back to help her stay asleep. After half an hour Jughead fell asleep beside Betty.
