16 years ago, Musashi Shrine, Morning...
Third Person's POV
"Mikey and Baji are taking waaaay too long." Pah-chin complained in annoyance. Those two childhood friends were oddly late to their hangout. "Be patient, Pah. Maybe Mikey is buying taiyaki. You know him." Takashi commented optimistically.
"But it never takes this long.. Should we go find them?" Kazutora spoke up worriedly. He was getting a bit paranoid, concerned of his two friends' safety. Ken shook his head , disagreeing. "They will be here anytime soon. We just need to wait-"
"There they are." Takashi announced, catching the others' attention. They fixed their eyes on the two boys climbing up the stairs.
But bafflement dawned over their faces when they realized they counted it wrong. There were three people, actually.
"I wanna go home!" A girl whined but was disagreed by Manjiro. "Since you are here, might as well meet our buddies!"
"Mikey, she wanted to go home. We shouldn't be dragging her here." Keisuke tried to help her get out of this situation. Manjiro defied his point. "She wouldn't even be staying home, Baji! We know you are just gonna sit on swing by yourself at the playground until the sun set."
"That is better than meeting strangers.." she added. Manjiro convincingly stated, "Our friends are your friends, (Y/n). Trust me, you will like them!"
The other four friends heard their two friends bickering with a third person. Once the the three kids came in sight, Ken, Takashi, Pah-chin and Kazutora were surprised to see a girl with Manjiro and Keisuke.
