Next day,
Tokyo City,
Sumire's apartment...Sumire's POV
I left the bathroom after taking a bath. Thanks goodness today was my day off. I could finally rest after days of working.
Relaxing myself on the couch, I switched on the television. I watched a random show which honestly didn't pique my interest. Considering I didn't have anything to watch, I simply picked a random show.
I picked up my phone that was lying on the coffee table. Annoyance settled in my system when I remembered the call last night.
Stupid co-worker. He must be calling me in the middle of night to ask about work again. No way in hell I'm sacrificing my sleep for him. That is what he got for procrastinating his work.
I would be happy if Boss fires him soon. He has done nothing but causes trouble for people around, including me.
I clicked the call logs to check in case I got any miss calls.
The newest call I made was with (Y/n).
Hold on, (Y/n)?
When did she call me?
1.12 a.m...
"Shit, she was the one who called me last night?!"
I was horrified at the discovery. Guilt instantly pang my heart when I recalled the harsh words I yelled out during the call.
I was sleepy and extremely drained out last night so I was not aware of the name of the caller!
Oh, dear. Poor girl. I didn't mean to say those things to her.
I have to call her quick and apologize!
I hastily clicked (Y/n)'s name and waited for her to pick up. 30 seconds went on, the call wasn't answered. I tried calling her back several times.
After the seventh attempt, I stopped for a moment. All of the calls were answered by voice mail box instead of (Y/n).
I bit my nail anxiously. She must have felt offended... No wonder she didn't pick up my call.
Oh God. Why did this has to happen? I never thought of hurting her feelings. I didn't know she was the one who called me last night. She must have thought those words were directed to her.
(Y/n), I'm sorry...
