After a while,
In the penthouse building...

Second Person's POV

' I wonder why Tora-chan did that... Don't tell me he somehow has feelings for me? Shoot, this is not gonna end good. How can I tell him I'm already taken and currently seeing someone? Then he is gonna ask who is my boyfriend... I can't tell him about Manjiro.' You messed with your hair in frustration.

You trudged out of the elevator after a long ride to the highest floor of the building. You were shocked to find your boyfriend waifing outside the house. He was wearing his casual stoic face.

"Manjiro! When did you arrive?"

"A few minutes ago..."

Manjiro's voice sounded colder and huskier than usual. But you thought nothing of it and went to hug your lover. Your arms wrapped around his slim figure lovingly. Seeing him in front of you washed away every worry you developed from today's conflict.

"I'm happy to see you here. I bet you have not taken dinner yet. I will cook tonight." You held his hand tenderly. Unlocking the door, you led Manjiro into the house and shut the door close.

Manjiro was oddly quiet. Yet you didn't suspect anything wrong with him. He was perhaps tired from...his work and needed rest. No wonder he came to visit you. After all, he did say being with you was a form of relaxation to him.

"Have a sit first. I will be in the kitchen if you need anything, honey." You informed Manjiro. As expected, re resulted to silence. You didn't let his quietness bother your mind and strolled over to the kitchen.

Thankfully, Sumire wouldn't be home until 11 p.m.. Once again, she had to attend a dinner with a client. She was a busy businesswoman. No doubt she would be occupied with workload till nighttime.
