Manjiro's penthouse..
Second Person's POV
You were sitting on the ground, eyes clouded with extreme fear. Manjiro unceasingly fixed his attention on you. You began sobbing softly, your entire being trembling under his fierce gaze.
You didn't know why but his action somehow reminded you of your deceased abusive father. The thought of that caused you to be more terrified of Manjiro.
You coughed out a little more blood , the thick liquid covered your left palm. A few drops of your blood actually dripped down on the floor. His slap was quite brutal to the point you coughed blood.
Hearing your sobbing and noticing the tears staining your cheeks, Manjiro returned to his sense. He was horrified to find you on the floor, weeping.
But much worse, his heart dropped upon seeing the blood stain on the floor...
...and blood on your lips.
Manjiro shuffled his gaze to his hand. Remembering what he had done, his face was written with fright. He rushed to your side to help you. You wanted to run away from him. You didn't make it in time.
Your legs felt weak and wobbly due to shock. You couldn't stand up. How could you escape this hell?
Manjiro embraced you in his arms to reassure you. "Sweetheart, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I never meant to hurt you! I'm so sorry, (Y/n)! I'm sorry!"
Terror had completely taken over your mind. Before you right now stood a devil. A devil you had never met in your life.
One that gave off more terrifying vibe compared to your abusive parents.
You squirmed in his tight embrace. "No! LET ME GO! LET ME GO!" You cried out fearfully, feet kicking the floor as hard as you could to push Manjiro away. He never released you from his arms.
"Let me treat your wound first! Please, (Y/n). I really mean no harm. I never wanted to hurt you!" Manjiro sobbed. Tears were also seeping out from the corner of his eyes. God, he regretted it so much. He let his anger blinded his eyes and resorted to violence with you.
He knew damn well how much violence impacted you negatively.
Because it would remind you of the time your parents abused you brutally.
Manjiro had acknowledged how wrong it was to use violence... Yet he... Yet he...
He was becoming exactly like the people you feared and hated the most.
You continuously cried, your loud cries echoed throughout the house. Manjiro's heart broke as he listened to your cries. He had messed up really bad.
"LET ME GO!" You yelled at Manjiro again which resulted in him to tighten the embrace. You were absolutely afraid of him to the point the fear was unimaginable and indescribable. You could not describe it at all.
