Nova
22|She's Lying
I bang my fist against the door, not caring about the neighbours sending glares at me as they peek out their window or pass by. "Liam!" I yell and pound my fist against the door again.
I step to the side and look through the window, the light dining from the sun helping me. I pull away and let out a frustrated sigh. He's been MIA with me ever since that argument we had, not to mention Kelly hasn't talked to me either. "He's clearly not here! Let's just go!" Ethan yells behind me.
I glance at him from over my shoulder, his relaxed posture annoying me. "No. He can't just hide because he's mad at me." I mutter and bang against the door again. It doesn't take long for the door to swing open with a tired looking Liam.
"Nova? What are you doing banging on my door at," he looks down at his watch then back to me with squinting eyes, "at eight in the morning?"
"You've been ignoring me for a while now." I shrug, crossing my arms over myself.
"Thought you didn't want to talk to me for a while?" He drops his arms to his side letting out a sigh.
"I tried to call you, you just...went radio silence." I tell him, showing my confusion towards his weird behaviour.
He steps forward, furrowing his brows. "You called? I'm sorry I would if answered if I knew."
"You did answer, Liam." I shake my head.
He stares at me as if he has no idea what I'm talking about. It hits me that perhaps he really doesn't have any idea what I'm talking about. "I called you a day after the fight we had to tell you something and I apologised. I left a message." I uncross my arms and turn in my heels sending a look to Ethan.
He pushes himself off from the car and begins to make his way towards me. I turn back to Liam who has disappeared from the doorway.
"What's up?" Ethan walks up leaning against the wooden door frame, lifting his black sunglasses into his head. I roll my eyes at the sight of them, already having made fun of him for it. "Don't start with the glasses again." He says, already noticing my attitude.
"You're in England and it's November." I roll my eyes again.
"The sun still here." He shrugs.
"Yeah, it's also three degrees." I mutter.
"I don't even have a message from you." Liam comes back, looking down at his phone in one hand.
"I sent it." I remember clearly sending that message to him. I also remember him answering the phone call. "Liam, you answered the call." I say again in case it didn't click in his head.
"Yeah, but I don't even remember you calling me. I, there's no way I answered that call." He mutters.
"So who did?" Ethan says.
"Who's at the door?" Just then, Kelly comes from behind Liam, her hair a mess and earring his T-shirt.
Me and Ethan share a look, which Liam clearly saw. "No, don't go getting ideas." He looks between us both.
"Where you with Liam Friday night?" Ethan's ignores Liam and raises a brow at Kelly.
"What?" She laughs nervously, looking at us all.
"Nothing, he's just being annoying." I send a smile at her and glare at Ethan. He rolls his eyes at me and pushes himself off from the door frame.
