Chapter 35|Surprise Bitch

I was making my way back to the cabin I left Grayson in. I see clementines car parked and assume she has been there for a while now. I don't expect them to get along at all, after what he did to her and what she did to him. It's all a mess.

However, I don't expect that when I walk in, they each hold a gun towards one another. I roll my eyes, kicking the door shut making my presence known. They both look towards me then quickly back at each other, with glares.

"Will you both put the guns down." I mutter, feeling like the only adult here.

"Not until she puts her gun down." Grayson narrows his eyes at her.

"And let you shoot me the moment I do? No way." Clementine glares her eyes at him.

I sigh and walk in between them both. "What? Your not gonna shoot me are you?" I tilt my head to both of them.

Hesitantly, they silently agrees and Grayson is the first to put the gun down. I give Clementine a look. "Fine." She rolls her eyes and puts her guns away.

I walk over to the plastic bag, taking out the sweets i bought myself, looking behind me I see clems dogs just as I suspected. I pull out the treats for them and they comes running over.

"You got them treats?" Clem asks, watching me feed her gorgeous pets.

"Of course I did." I laugh as they lick my hand clean. I pull out a chair and sit down, groaning at the pain I'm my feet and back.

"What are we doing here anyway?" Grayson asks, pulling out a chair before me and pulling my legs onto his lap.

"I told you. We have some catching up to do." I sigh as he begins to run my sore feet. "So let's just get it all out. We dug up your grave." I say, watching as he pauses his movements.

"You what?" Grayson turns to me, baffled by the idea.

"We had to prove our theory some how." I argue.

"Yeah, we weren't so surprised when it came up empty." Clementine smirks, sitting on the kitchen side.

"Your turn." I smile, my smile hiding the anger I glare at him.

"I started those fires because I wanted your attention." He admits.

"So why try and hide out if you wanted her to know your alive?" Clementine asks. Even she seems to be slightly annoyed at the stupid actions he makes.

"It was stupid, I just saw you getting closer and wanted to somehow let you know I'm okay. I was wrong to do it, I put you at risk." Grayson admits, looking at me with regret.

But I don't agree with him. I don't think he should regret trying to get my attention. If anything, I wish he tried harder to make me see him. It would of saved me a lot of bad days.

"How did you know we were getting close?" Clementine asks.

"There was talk going around, Nikko heard so shit we had tabs on people. We put some dots together and realised it was you guys people were talking about." He shrugs his shoulders, his hands still rubbing my feet while I eat.
