Y/N's POV

Today, on the eventful day of May 6th, 2016, life seemed to take a turn for the worse. The world was embroiled in a colossal conflict ignited by none other than Tony Stark and your Uncle Steve, spurred by their disagreement over the Sokovian Accords. It was ironic how the accords were named after the very place you and your sister hailed from. As you sat there, engrossed in sketching a mental image of the chaotic events that had unfolded, your notebook was filled with an intricate web of pencil marks outlining two figures back to back. Placing the pencil pensively beside your chin, you pondered the facial expressions and contemplated altering the design to conceal the identities of the individuals you were drawing.

Interrupting your thoughts, Bucky's voice emerged from behind you, breaking the silence. Startled, you looked up from your sketch, momentarily puzzled by his inquiry.

"The journal," he clarified, referring to the notebook you were working on.

"Oh! Yeah, of course, I like it! It's perfect, thank you, Bucky!" A smile spread across your face, mirroring the appreciation you felt.

"I figured it would be perfect since you're starting school and everything," Bucky explained, and you nodded in agreement. Your eyes then fell upon the unfinished sketch, prompting Bucky's curiosity. He moved closer, peering over your shoulder to catch a glimpse of your work. However, you hastily shut the book, a reflex born out of the desire to maintain secrecy. Bucky's expression faltered slightly, and he took a step back.

"Sorry, I didn't really mean to intrude," he apologized, his voice laced with remorse.

"No, it's fine, I get it." You reassured him, mustering a slight smile. Sensing his genuine interest, you reopened the journal, gesturing for him to join you.

"Not too bad. Who are the people, though?" Bucky inquired, genuinely curious. You shrugged, deliberately withholding the obvious answer that it depicted Steve and Tony.

"I got the idea from Pinterest, so I don't really know," you replied, keeping your response deliberately vague. Bucky nodded in understanding before his eyes widened in excitement.

"I totally forgot! Look at this, me me I found!" Bucky settled into a nearby chair, extracting his phone from his pocket.

"Buck, it's pronounced 'Meme,' not 'me me'," you interjected, chuckling softly as he frowned.

"When I asked Steve, he said it was right, though," he defended himself.

"What? No, you should never ask Uncle Steve about today's technology," you replied, laughing.

"Whatever, anyways, look." Bucky shifted his phone toward you, revealing a picture of an Iced Americano from Starbucks. However, instead of the mermaid logo, it showcased Captain America. Both of you burst into laughter, thoroughly amused by the clever twist.

Amidst the lighthearted moment, your Uncle Steve entered the room, breaking the jovial atmosphere with his serious tone. "We've got to go to Germany," he announced to both you and Bucky.

"What?" Steve's words caught you off guard. He glanced at you, recognizing your confusion. "It's Tony, isn't it?" you asked, to which Steve slowly nodded, confirming your suspicion.
