"Where is he?" Quill demanded, his gun cocked as he searched the area. The tension was palpable as everyone caught their breath, the aftermath of the intense battle still lingering in the air. Stabilizing myself on the back of an old ship, I was still feeling light-headed from earlier. Pietro stood by my side, his hand resting on my shoulder, offering support.

"I'm fine, go check on Mantis. I haven't seen her in a minute," I reassured Pietro when he expressed concern. He nodded in acknowledgment before speeding to rush off and locate Mantis.

Amidst the silence, Quill's question hung in the air, echoing the fear and uncertainty that gripped us all. Tony whispered to Strange, questioning his actions, "Why would you do that?"

"We're in the endgame now," Strange responded cryptically, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.

A voice called my name, and I turned my head to see Peter approaching, grasping his side and limping. As he neared me, he flung his arms around me. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked concerned.

"I'm fine, Pete. But you're limping. What happened?" I inquired, gently pulling back to assess his condition.

"Um, he kicked my ribs. I think it's bruised and it hurts. I'll be okay though," Peter replied, trying to downplay his injury.

"Promise?" I asked,

"Promise," he affirmed. However, as soon as those words left his lips, a sense of foreboding washed over me. It felt as though a part of me was crumbling, as if something terrible was about to happen. "What? What is it?" Peter sensed my unease and questioned.

"Something is happening," Mantis' voice came. I looked up, my voice trembling.

"And its not good-" but before I could finish, Mantis disintegrated before our eyes, leaving us in shock and disbelief.

"What's happening?" I whispered, my hand instinctively covering my mouth. Quill turned, and Drax vanished as well, adding to the growing sense of dread that enveloped us. "Aw man," Quill muttered, glancing down at his hands as they too turned to dust.

"Tony, there was no other way," Strange spoke, his voice betraying a hint of sadness, before he too faded away. Peter grasped my shoulder, and I turned to face him, panic rising within me.

"Guys? I don't feel so good," Peter's voice quivered with fear, his body starting to crumble.

"You're all right," Tony tried to reassure him, but Peter took a step and fell. I caught him in my arms, his form disintegrating as tears streamed down my face. "I don't... I don't know what's happening," he cried, as you look tony pleading for help. I tried to tap into my magical abilities, but the exhaustion still overwhelmed me.

"I'm sorry," Peter whispered softly before he completely vanished. Gripped by grief, I wept on the floor, feeling the weight of the loss crushing my spirit. Tony came over and placed my hand on my back reassuringly.

"I'm really sorry kid." He said softly as you looked up at him. His expression quickly shifted however causing you to follow his gaze to your now disappearing hand.

"Oh no"  you muttered looking back up,

"Y/n?" Pietro asked as he knelt down next to you,

"Am I dying I-I don't want to die" you stammered as it gradually disintegrated,

"Y/n look at me" Tony commanded, "I'm going to bring everyone back I promise."

"How?" You asked tears silently escaping your eyes(

"I'll figure it out. I promise" Pietro wrapped his arms around you and began to cry.

"Please I just got you back" he cried,

"Im sorry" you told him as he pulled away.

"Hey Y/n?" Tony said as you began to feel your body go numb, "your an avenger now kid"
