"Wish we could turn back time...to the good old days"

(A/N Lots of POV swaps, lol sorry!)

Peter's POV

Peter's eyes snapped open as May's voice echoed through the apartment. "Peter! Wake up, you're gonna be late!" she called from the kitchen. He groaned, reluctantly dragging himself out of bed, but his eyes still begged for a few more moments of slumber.

"Coming, May!" he responded, his voice still heavy with drowsiness. He closed his eyes again, hoping to steal a few precious seconds of rest before facing the day.

"Peter! It's been ten minutes!" May's voice rang out once more, this time with a hint of frustration. His eyes flew open, and he shot up from his bed, suddenly aware of the time slipping away.

"Crap!" Peter exclaimed, his heart racing. He swiftly webbed his blue shirt, gray jacket, and jeans off the chair where he had left them the previous day and hurriedly dressed. Grabbing a granola bar from the counter, he slid into the kitchen, only to have May ruffle his hair playfully from behind.

"Have a good day, and hurry!" she encouraged, her tone mixed with a touch of concern. Peter nodded, swallowing a bite of the granola bar as he made a hasty exit.

"See ya, May!" he called back, his words hurried as he darted towards the elevator. However, in his rush, he collided with someone, causing both of them to topple over.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," Peter apologized, scrambling to his feet. Extending a hand, he helped the person up, realizing it was Y/n. In the process, he also picked up a book she had dropped.

"Gosh, Parker," she joked, accepting the book with a playful grin.

"I said I was sorry. Besides, we're running a bit late. Come on!" Peter urged, feeling the pressure of time ticking away.

Y/n's POV

Entering the bustling halls of Midtown Science and Technology High School, the first thing that assaulted your senses was the overwhelming crowd of students. The waves of thoughts and voices bombarded your mind, causing an immediate headache. Squinting your eyes, you navigated your way through the throng, trying to find solace amidst the chaos.

"Rise and shine, Midtown Science and Technology," the voice of the school TV announcer blared over the speakers, adding to the disarray in your head.

"Students, don't forget about your homecoming tickets. Do you have a date for homecoming?" the announcer continued, prompting various responses from the students.

"Thanks, Jason, but I already have a date," someone replied.

"Okay," the announcer's voice droned on, lacking enthusiasm. The words barely registered with you as you walked past the TV, making your way to your locker.

"Good morning, sunshine," MJ sang, appearing from behind your shoulder.

"You seem happy," you observed, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

"Oh, yeah! Today is going to be so easy. I can finally finish my book," MJ replied, a gleam of excitement in her eyes.

"The one about human bondage?" you hummed, finding the choice of literature slightly odd.

"No, it's history, and it's interesting," MJ stated matter-of-factly, leaning against the locker next to yours. "Speaking of which, do you have the answers for the quiz later?"

"For history?" you asked, a hint of panic creeping into your voice.

"Yeah," MJ confirmed.

"That's today?" you blurted out, a mix of surprise and worry filling your thoughts.
