The clubs music was pulsating, sending the bass thudding through my chest as me and my girls were strutting our way through one of the most notorious night clubs in New York, a club for the rich and powerful, a club for A-listers and a club that held the craziest parties going, yet here I was sailing through the entrance with not a fucking clue as to what it was called.
Karlie had been going on and on about it in the car so I was highly anticipating a great night ahead rubbing shoulders with some important people. I'd already seen two Kardashians on the way in, not that I was a fan of them or paid attention long enough to realize which ones they were. To me that family was toxic, they all reminded me of the essence of a narcissist, on the surface they looked sweet and polite and radiated positivity but deep down they were spoilt, vindictive, manipulative and controlling.

The club itself felt so fresh as we entered the main hall, the air felt so clean to inhale, there was different flavoured oxygen tanks that I could see people taking seats and trying out, and every now and again the DJ would let off smoke machines for a big bass drop and the smoke from the cannons smelt exquisite, somewhat tinged with a citrus fragrance, it was a much welcome change, being in a club that had decent air conditioning!
There was a big number of "series celebrities" out, those in shows on Netflix like Vampier Diaries, The Wire, SOA and so on, Karlie was level expert in pointing them out, I was so bad with names and I didn't have an attention span long enough to sit through a series, I just knew from the few episodes that I did watch here and there, I knew the cast of the wire, I used to remember how Marshall would watch that on repeat when it first came out.
There was big sections with alcohol on display in ice buckets and beautiful waitresses walking around serving people on demand so that there was no queuing at the multiple bars around the club. We walked out of the main club area and to the back of the building where there was a large lounge area, it was more of a place to chat and mingle with a large glass panelled wall that gave us beautiful views of NYC lit up against the evening sky.
Tonight was the first time in a while that both myself and Karlie had free. Our business schedule was non stop even more so now that we had meetings all across the world so we was staying in endless amounts of hotels and taking jet planes here, there and everywhere.

"I like it better here, let's grab a window seat" Karlie instructed as I saw the waitress heading for us, she introduced herself as our hostess for the evening and took a note of our drinks order and then quickly left us to it,
"Ah no way" Karlie was looking in a particular direction with big Bambi eyes,

"Oh who've you seen now?" I laughed and rolled my eyes as I got a little more comfortable on my seat, she'd pointed out endless guys that she was lining up to warm her empty bed,

"I'm sure that's Charlie Hunnam over there"

"Uhm.." I squinted to see,
"Yeah it looks like him"

"Not as hot with a short beard"

"Oh like you'd turn him down" we both laughed. I thought he looked very similar to Tom Hardy, a little tingle ran down my spine thinking back to that kiss with him, fuck was he a good kisser,

"Is he single?"

"How would I know? Do I look like Patti Stanger?"

"Who's that?"

"Are you serious? She's that woman who did that TV series ages ago... putting dates together for Millionaires"

"Nope, not a clue. I think we was a little early getting here, it's only just starting to fill"

"Well the place is huge, but we're not early, I think it's just a limited guest list"

"What's this promo party for again?"

"It's something to do with those oxygen bars, I wouldn't mind getting a few for the dance studios actually. Imagine how nice it would be to have a sniff on those after an intense dance lesson" Karlie seemed to have a positive response by giggling at me,
"What?" I grinned back at her before I thanked the hostess for our drinks,
