No sooner had we arrived back into Clinton Township was Marshall back out, through the door and back to work. I had so much to tackle at work with new clients and sponsorship deals but I had no willingness or motivation to do anything. We'd been back for two days and I'd not left the house once. I'd go for a morning run around 8am, get back to the house, run myself a bubble bath in the tub, listen to music for around an hour or so and then I'd lounge around the house with a few glasses of wine before preparing dinner for whenever Marshall would arrive home.
He had A LOT to catch up on, what with the recent release of Music To Be Murdered By, more so with a big film production for the title track Godzilla which from what I'd saw on set was a comical return to the screen for Marshall. For the days on set that I wasn't there he'd come home and have a new story of something funny to tell, and it was nice to see him and Dre buddying up again, we'd not see him for sometime, to my recollection the last time we saw him was just after the divorce settlement, Marshall wanted Dre to know that he was there for him and made his presence known on occasions where he'd fly out and stay over.

It was a beautiful late evening so I'd decided to go out into the garden to sit out on the decking and play some music by an Alt band that I'd become quite obsessed with from back home called, Nothing But Thieves, it was a perfect pink sky evening to enjoy in the garden before the sun went down,

"Oh!" I was spooked mid-pour by Hailie who was walking towards me, one of her dogs behind her running wild along the grass,

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" she gave a cheeky smile as she came to join me,

"I didn't hear the doors go with the music on"

"What're we drinking?" She eyed up my cocktail,

"Are we wanting a glass?" I grinned, and held it up to showcase it,

"Depends on what it is, but its looking appealing" she took off her bag and sat back on a lounger,

"It's so good it's a melon mojito"

"You twisted my arm at melon"

"Here" I handed her the cocktail shaker as I went to get her a glass from the outdoor bar unit,
"Your dad should be home soon" I handed her a glass,

"Oh I've already seen him today, he invited me down to the shoot, Andre was asking how I was so he told me to not be rude and to show my face, no consideration to me being busy filming or anything" she joked as she poured herself a glass,

"Hey your last workout routine... I tried it out, I loved it"

"You did not? That's a compliment to me you're like.. the fitness queen, you and dad got me into this"

"Girl you're flying on your own, me and your dad aren't responsible for what you're doing on your own, you're smashing it!"

"Honestly, thank you. I'm really enjoying it. But it takes up so much of my time"

"Yeah fitness fanatics leave out the, it'll take over your life part" we chuckled,

"Honestly the routines, the meal preparation.. all of that, it's a lot"

"It is. But like they say it's a life style, not a choice"

"Amen. So how've you been? How's your mom? Dads told me a little but.."

"Is that why you're here? Has he sent you to check in on me?"

"No, not at all. We've not caught up in a while so I thought I'd let my dogs run havoc around here and come annoy my step-mom"

"You could never annoy me... but those dogs"

"Cmon they're literally the cutest though right?"

"I mean.. yes, until they start with their non stop barking"
