Against our wishes the news of the attack had gone viral, someone at the party had acted as a source and sold the story, but of course every attendee we asked denied giving a story. We ourselves hadn't given a statement, we just let Marshall's spokesman confirm that we had no further comments given the situation at speculation, though today Marshall had agreed to do a short interview with Shade 45 today just to give some clarity on our relationship status, we'd never addressed the public since our split.
It had been almost a week since the incident had happened and there was a warrant out for Ashley's arrest so Marshall was on-guard 24/7, not letting me out of his sight, having me go to the studio with him and also chauffeuring me around. It was really sweet of him but also it was getting a little... smothering. However I was happy to be riding along with him and his crew as we arrived at the radio station. There was just something I loved about sitting in on interviews with him, watching him as the professional that he was, seeing him as the artist Eminem, the public figure that everyone knew so well, because being married to him I could never see that side to him, so when we went out doing promo or if I went to his gigs with him it kind of rejuvenated the fan within, which in turn sparked that fresh, raw excitement in me that I had once felt when I first met him. It kinda... got me hot under the collar.

I got comfortable with an iced frappe in hand as they got underway with their introductions on the airwaves, usually Sway had his co-hosts Heather and Tracy beside him but with the boss in the office it was just him and Sway exchanging pleasantries,

Sway - "Well, it's a very rare occasion that we.. we get to see the boss here in true form, as always we appreciate you coming on the show to give us some news, as they say, straight from the horses mouth"

Em - "I mean... If I got the time you know I'll stop by, so.."

Sway - "So that explains why you're never here" they laughed,

Em- "Exactly" he grinned,
"But uh yea so to dive on in, I'm in the studio, the wheels of production are turning, and you know, it feels good to be totally immersed into a project where... I'm allowing myself to.. kinda play around with things again and just be havin' fun wit' it, y'know?"

S - "Fo'sho dawg. So ima cut right to it because I know we ain't gotta lot a time today, ah.. what're we calling this work of art? Is this an album in its own rights, or is it like a.. a sequel? Because we know you done that before, right? With Relapse, Marshall Mathers LP.."

E - "Well for the most part I don't really wanna say too much.. for once.. but what I will say is that you're on the right tracks, it could be a carry on.. a sequel maybe not so, but along the lines of"

S - "Tight! So along the path of a continuation of Music To Be Murdered By?"

E - "Yea.. but I'm not saying any more than.. that"

S - "You sure?"

E - "Mhm"

S - "Quite literally tight lipped over there huh"

E - "There's a cat in here, and he appears to have my..."

S - "PSSSS! Get gone cat we gotta get the down low on this joint!"

E - "Hey! He's also took my cream!"

S - "What kinda hood ass, stealing ass cat we got up in here today? We really gotta put that call in to pest control"

E - "Yea I think you gotta problem"

S - "This ain't our problem! Ain't you the boss?!" Ah these two were just comical,

E - "Oh! Looks like the cats outta the bag"

S- "You just couldn't leave it could you"

E - "I ain't got no more.. that are safe for the radio"
