With Marshall and Nate preoccupied with one another I decided to slip out after my shower, I needed to see for myself that this was all really happening.
I took a ride in my new all black Brabus wagon and drove steadily through the estate, it was absolutely throwing it down which made it all the more better to disguise myself amidst the pitch black evening.
The house was the very end one, I turned my headlights off and gently rolled to a standstill, I could see quite clearly into the front room of the house as the lights were on and no curtains or blinds were up. I saw Tyler drilling and putting up a shelf with some other guy, and then out came his wife, car keys in hand as I watched her get into a a very luxurious Cadillac Escalade the ESV Platinum edition. The vehicle was certainly the most luxurious mum mobile to own, so either she was very well off or Tyler was really raking in the dollar with professional football. I grinned a little as I watched her have trouble reversing it down their driveway, you certainly needed to know how to handle a car of such beauty and power, I had a feeling the vehicle was very new to her.
What was I even doing here? What exactly did I need to see? I already knew shit was true with him turning up to work to admit that he'd moved in. I then watched as Tyler came to the door to say goodbye to the guy helping him with the shelf. A sudden urge built within.. do I go and confront him? Warn him? Warn him of what exactly? I had no clue but I felt myself reach for the door handle to let myself out of the car. What the fuck was I doing?! I ran quickly to the house, thankfully sheltered from the rain by the large front porch, it was most certainly a more old fashioned plot compared to the rest of the community, I rang the doorbell and waited..

"Jodie? What the fuck are you doing here?" Tyler looked rather agitated and confused as he looked around us before ushering me in,

"I'm not staying. I had to come and see this for myself"

"Couldn't you have called tomorrow? In the daylight?"

"What and play happy wives happy lives with your wife? No thanks.."

"So then why the visit? Obviously I wasn't gonna come make up a lie about where I'm living, I wanted to prewarn you before you found out"

"Yeah well news travels really fast around here, and everyone has Marshall's back, they're very protective over him"

"Yeah so I gathered when they came to warn me off approaching him like I'm gonna try chase after him on his morning run for an autograph"

"I just came to offer a piece of advice... Marshall doesn't want you around here, so whilst you can I'd hold off on the home improvements and sell up before shit gets difficult"

"Are you threatening me?"

"Maybe. I'm not sure. I don't know what my husband is planning, but I know what he is capable of and the power he has so I'm just returning the pre-warning"

"Threats... okay.. let me tell you how it is... neither of you can bully us out of this house, this was my grandparents home, it's been in the family for decades, they wanted to do a home exchange with us to downsize due to their health so there ain't no fucking way in hell you or your husband are gonna influence us to move. Do you know what's even more ironic, the fact that he's got his panties in a bunch because he thinks I'm some wild stalker who's got millions to throw down on a house just to be close to you! I'm married, I got a baby on the way, you both seriously think this is about you and me?" He laughed,

"Well how else does this look Tyler?"

"I don't care how it looks, you know the script so you can run off to your little hot headed husband and go tell him the facts, and if he don't believe you I'll invite him up for a beer and get out the family photos to prove who my fucking grandparents are because I am actually aware of how much they liked the pair of you. Anyway look my wife is gonna be back soon so you might wanna leave"
