<Brooklyn's>

I can't breathe. That's all I think as the top of the Bat-mobile opens.

Dick doesn't look at me with a toothy grin like he always does after a mission. He doesn't come up to me and kiss my cheek. He doesn't move to secretly brush our arms together to keep from the team or his family seeing. He doesn't do any of that.

Instead he screams, out in fear and pain, causing my feet feel like lead as I watch him twist and turn, a chill zapping through my body.

Damian shakes me slightly trying to get me to look at him, but I shake my head.

"No," I hear myself whisper before I even register I am thinking it, "Fear toxin."

Not that. Not this week, no.

This gets Bruce's attention as he takes the cowl off, looking at me, "Brooklyn, it's okay-"

"No," I stop him from saying it. Shaking my head, "No, no, no, no. This can't- no." I get out, Damian frowning at me, trying to calm me down.

"Travis-" I don't listen to him, I can't as my ears are filled with my heartbeat as I look at him.

His hair is sticking to his forehead from the sweat covering his body, his eyebrows drawn together in pain. His eyes... his eyes are fill of it as he watches a scene play out that isn't real.

I know how that feels, I know how real it feels. You can't see the difference, you can't tell what's real and what isn't and-

He pushes his head back into the seat and lets out a small cry in pain, causing me to step back as if someone just slapped me.

I didn't realize Damian had left my side until then, Tim, Damian and Bruce forcing him onto a bed before they go to Dick.

He mutters at them, trying to fight them off and trashing as he hits Damian and Tim in the ribs hard until the finally get him strapped down, the pained look on Dick's face still there.

Bruce turns to Hazel and I, who I realize is still with me, watching Jason and probably so confused.

But I can't push myself to ask if she is okay, I can't push myself to move.

Bruce's eyes meet hers first, before they both look at me, but my eyes are still on Dick.

"Brooklyn, it's not the same thing." Bruce tries, his rough voice softening as he tries to step to me.

I flinch at the movement, my eyes never leaving Dick and I realize I'm shaking slightly as I look to Bruce, "He can't forget me. I cant- he can't-" I cut myself off as Bruce tries to step closer to me.

I can see Hazel, Tim and Alfred rolling Jason away out of the corner of my eyes, but I step back from Bruce again.

"He isn't going to forget you, Brooklyn..." His voice trails off as he stops moving toward me, realizing it isn't helping.

"You don't know that." I shake my head again. Dick starts mumbling again, causing me to step closer to him, moving past Bruce.

Bruce grabs my shoulder, trying to stop me from seeing Dick in pain, thinking he was helping.

"He is gone, you can't do anything-"

One second I am facing Dick, the next I am turning on Bruce, landing a punch on his jaw.

It was meant for me, the bullet. Not him.

I dodge a hand, kicking at his stomach, before I try to punch again.
