headcanon 14

1. Hazel works in the ER and stitches up a lot of people and sometimes as she is trying to get to know the person, it becomes very clear that jason definitely is the reason they are in there.

+ she doesn't tell him this though and casually asks about soemthing specific and he is just like how does she know???

2. Brooklyn, like mentioned before, worried a lot in the first few months after Ra's al Ghul about Dick and way missions, so Artemis let's her sleep of the couch when he is doing missions overnight.

+ wally didn't know and screamed when he saw her sleeping on the couch because he didn't know who it was.

+ brooke was PISSED bc he woke her up.

3. Hazel gets a random page from a doctor at the hospital one day to go get some supplies and when she walks into the closet, she is met with a bleeding Jason Todd, groaning sheepishly at her.

+ she feels like she could murder him in that moment.

+ she obviously stitches him up and tells him what to do, which is to go straight home and not do anything until she gets there.

+ Jason just keeps complimenting how she looks in scrubs, making her more pissed, but also flustered.

+ she is even more pissed when she realizes she still has a long shift and all she can think about is him.

4. Hazel has grown accustom to Jason slipping in and out of the apartment, but can't fall asleep until she feels the bed dip and his arms sliding around her as he pulls her to his chest.

5. Brooklyn, like Jason with Hazel, distracts Dick if he is working too hard. He often works too hard because of how big of a heart he has for everyone. He will do anything to help so staying up a bit later to finish a case? nothing. trying to organize the next missions for the team while kaldur is away? fine. patrolling for bruce as Batman when he needs to seem to still be in Gotham? no problem. Not a problem until Brooklyn seems how tired he is and does something about it. She usually starts by playing with his hair while he is working at his desk, maybe even massaging his shoulders a little. He doesn't realize what she is doing immediately. Not until she plants a few kisses behind his ear or on his neck. He tries to explain he is almost done but she knows better. She can usually end up getting him to go to bed by this point, but on rare occasions where she can't, she ends up sitting on his lap and they work through the cases together, him resting his head on her shoulder, her resting hers on his head.

6. While we haven't gotten a lot of Tim and Brooke content, they actually bond a lot. Brooklyn has always had a soft spot for him, but when he called Dick at 2 am about an unsolved murder case from buzzfeed and she answered instead of Dick, they stayed up until they had a solid lead... and until Dick woke up and grabbed the phone. Tim was told to look at that stuff that late and to go to sleep, but Brooklyn and him have been hooked ever since, sending each other articles about different ones and meeting for coffee to talk about them.

+ They don't tell Dick about it until he found out. He just sighed because he knew he couldn't stop them even though he tried to get Tim to ease up sending them to her.
