We Probably Aren't Allowed To Do This.

I Don't Know where the einherjar got a giantess to crack the ice of the pond I was now standing next to. Maybe she was an Einherji? Although I doubted I could've missed someone that size ( even if I'd only been at the hotel for a few days). Or maybe there was an Ice-Breaking Giant Hiring Service? I wasn't sure, but these were the thoughts going through my mind to stop me from thinking about the awful weather so I'm going to write them down anyway.

I should probably explain why we needed a giant to crack any ice. Just like Odin had said at the feast last night, today was the day of Gunilla's funeral, as well as the funeral of the other two valkyries who had passed away on the island of Fenris Wolf. All three bodies were placed on a swan boat ( I also don't know where valhalla got that from) and sent out into a pond in the public garden.

I was the first to step forward and kneel next to the boat.

" Gunilla, I am so sorry this happened to you. If I had just stayed by your side to fight Surt with you, maybe none of this would've happened. I'm not the warrior I hoped to be, I don't have your strength. But that won't stop me from defending anything I can, or to keep Asgard safe in your absence. I never knew you well, I didn't even know you as well as my brother did, but it's still my fault you're not here still fighting by our sides."

I pushed myself to my feet before taking hold of my staff, the first weapon I'd ever really held, and placed it by the side of the now deceased Valkyrie captain. Then I walked to Magnus's side, and watched as the other Einherjar began following my example, paying their respects, some just saying their goodbyes, others leaving something with the fallen. Once the last warrior was finished saying their goodbyes, the swan boat set off into the middle of the pond.

Then it got lit on fire.

I watched the boat burn for a few moments longer, before it sailed into a wall of fire and disappeared, and I felt a hand on my shoulder, and turned around to see T.J.

" Willow, we're going to head back to Valhalla now, are you and your brother going to come to?"

I looked at my brother before turning back to T.J. with a shake of my head." There's still something we need to take care of before we head back, but we'll see you guys later."

As the others left, I turned back to Magnus and watched him talk with Hearth, Blitz, and Sam for a minute, before walking a little ways away, strolling through the park, before Magnus walked over to me.

" Are you ready to see Annabeth again?"

" I think so. This is probably a good thing for us to do, we still have a family. Even if we haven't spoken with them in years. You know, a week or so ago things were so different, there was practically nothing left for us in this world, and now look at where we are. We have a home, we have friends, and we have family. Even if the world were to end tomorrow, I think I'd be happy with the life I've lived thus far now."

A/N: Only one more chapter remaining, and this chapter got two monologues! I hope at least someone somewhat enjoyed this chapter, any to all comments from anyone about anything make my day, and just keep in mind the world is your erster.
