Nothing Much Happens In This Chapter.

     Finally, after a long while, Magnus returned to the ship. Sam and Mallory had both already returned, bringing a giant with them, so the rest of us were questioning where he'd gone.

     Eventually, Magnus reached the ship once we'd killed the giant, and Sam, Hearth, and Blitz ran over to greet them, eventually dragging Mallory, T.J., Halfborn, and I out of the conversation we were having when Sam called for Halfborns attention.

     " Ah, there he is!" the berserker yelled as he noticed my brother." Magnus, would you please explain to T.J. that those thralls had to die? He's giving Mack a hard time about it."

     Mack, by the way, was apparently Mallory Keen's new nickname.

     " They were slaves," T.J. argued." I get what happened, I get the reasoning, but still... you guys killed them. You can't expect me to be okay with that."

     " They were jotuns!" Halfborn pointed out." They weren't even human!"

     " A gentle reminder, berserker," Blitzen spoke up." Hearth and I aren't human either."

     " Ah, you know what I mean. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Mack did the right thing."

     " Don't defend me! That makes it so much worse." Mallory turned to look at T.J." I'm sorry it had to happen that way, T.J., I really am. It was a bloody mess."

     T.J. hesitated for a second before speaking again." I'm going below. The air is fresher down there."

     I have a quick glance towards the others before following him below deck, placing a hand on his shoulder so he was aware I was there.

     " T.J., I'm not here to talk you out of it, I'm just here to keep you company. If you want to talk I'll listen."
