I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring into my ear. Annoyed, I tapped snooze and tried to fall back asleep.

"It's the first day of high school!" I panicked, quickly getting up to get ready for my day ahead. After washing up and changing into my new school uniform, I stood in front of my mirror to admire it.
Wow, I really am going to become a hero!
When I got downstairs, I noticed my parents weren't there. They probably left for work already.
I quickly had my breakfast before grabbing my bag and leaving my place, putting in my earpieces to listen to some music. I'm going to have new classmates and teachers. I hope I'd be able to make some new, good friends.
Wonder how long it'll take me to remember all my classmate's names.
I stared at my hands, forming a droplet of water on the middle of my palm. A few more formed and merged with the one in the middle.

"Class 1-A...Class 1-A!" I muttered, searching for my classroom. Then, I noticed a huge door with a sign that read the name of my class.

So this is the hero course.
I creaked the door open a little, knowing that there are probably a bunch of other students inside the classroom. Then, I slid it open so that I could have enough space to walk inside. As I entered, a few students turn their heads and looked at me.
"Hey, Kanami! You made it!" I heard a familiar voice call out. "Kirishima!" I responded, walking over to him. "Ready for our first day?" He asked. I tapped the strap of my bag, "Yep!"
I looked around the classroom. I saw Yaoyorozu sitting at the back of the classroom. She smiled and waved at me. I waved back at her and walked over, taking the seat in front of her. Beside her was Todoroki, and by him was that girl I saw with him. I stayed in my seat, waiting for class to start.
While I sat there, doodling in my notebook, I noticed a tall guy with glasses angrily walking over to amother classmate with ash-blonde hair who was sitting near the front row of the classroom.
"Don't put your feet on the desk!" He berated. "Huh?" The blonde responded with an impolite tone.
"Don't you think that's rude to the U.A. upperclassmen and the people who made the desk?" The guy with glasses continued. "Nope. What junior high did you go to, you side character?" The blonde mocked. Taken aback, the other guy responded to his question. "I attended Somei Private Academy. My name is Tenya Iida."
