Our attention was fixated on the building with the swirled roof as we alighted the bus. Different colours of uniforms filled the sidewalk from the other parked buses, and Kaminari and I began softly naming the several schools we recognised together.

I exhaled deeply, this wasn't the total number of schools we'd be up against in an hour.

Jiro gripped her bag's strap, "Ah, I'm getting nervous!"
"I wonder what we'll have to do...I wonder if I can get my provisional licence..." Mineta said, sweat forming rivulets on his head.
"Mineta, it's not about whether or not you can. Go and get it!" Aizawa said, bending down.
"Right, course-of!"

"If you can pass this test and get your provisional licences, then your novice eggs will become chicks. You'll hatch into semi-pros. Do your best."

"All right, I'll become a chick!" Kaminari exclaimed.
"Let's all call out as usual! Ready, set—plus...Ultra!" Kirishima cheered, but I heard an unfamiliar voice shout the "Ultra" part with us.

A sturdy-looking guy of towering height pumped his fist to the sky, his stance loosening as his schoolmates walked to his side.

"You shouldn't just barge in on other people's huddles, Inasa." A broadly built guy with long, dusty purple hair said.
Me and a few of the others visibly admired their uniforms. Elegant police-cap hats, formal-looking collar, dark royal blue...Shiketsu!
"Oh, no! I am....very...extremely...sorry!" Inasa spoke, hitting his head on the floor hard while bowing in apology.

"What's with this guy trying to get by with just his enthusiasm?!" Kaminari remarked loudly.
"Wait, that uniform...!" Jiro pointed out.
"It's from that famous school in western Japan..." Sero continued. "U.A. In the east, Shiketsu in the west...." Bakugo finished.

Shiketsu was a prestigious hero school too. One that rivaled U.A. Their school always reminded me of a police academy, and it had a reputation for being more strict than U.A.
The name "Inasa" rang a bell though. Then it hit me—It's the guy who topped the recommendations entrance exam, but rejected U.A's offer to join. I never knew why he rejected U.A when he proved he was stronger than all of us.

"I wanted to try saying it just once! Plus Ultra! I love U.A. High School! I am extremely honoured to be able to compete against U.A. Students! I'm looking forward to it!" Inasa continued, blood dripping off his head to his collar. Maybe he just loves Shiketsu more?-

One of the Shiketsu students pointed out the small stream of coming blood on Inasa's head, while two other students stepped ahead of them and called for their attention

One of the Shiketsu students pointed out the small stream of coming blood on Inasa's head, while two other students stepped ahead of them and called for their attention. A student with ivory-white hair, and a girl with golden-shine in her eyes.
I recognised her however. Short brown hair with a straight green streak, a shade that matched her eyes and complemented her sun-kissed skin.

"Nanako..!" I gasped in my head, hoping with every beat of my heart that she did not see me.
