Chapter 28

:) Sophie's POV :)

It's Monday night and I still have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow. I've pestered Luke and the boys about it, but no body will say anything. I gave up and headed back to my apartment. I turned on some music and slipped on some sweats and a tank top. Everyone else was busy so I have nothing else to do but to curl up in bed with a book. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

I woke up to the smell of cinnamon and pancakes. I stretched my arms and looked around the room. There was white rose petals scattered on my bed and across the floor. I got out of bed. My feet hitting the cold wood floor making me shiver. I followed the roses out of my bedroom and towards the kitchen. I walked in and sitting on the counter was a stack of cinnamon pancakes and a cup of orange juice. I smiled and looked around for the cook, but there was no one.

I walked back into the kitchen and noticed a note next to the plate. I picked up the small piece of paper and saw the neat handwriting on top.

To the one I love.

I flipped it open and smiled at the words.

I've loved you from the moment I saw you and I will continue to love you forever and always. Eat breakfast and then go shower. There will be a surprise for you when you get out.

I read and reread the note as I ate breakfast. Trying to figure out what the surprise was was useless. I had no ideas.

I finished up breakfast and cleaned the dishes. I quickly went to the bathroom to take a shower. I took the fastest shower known to man as my curiosity got the better of me. I wrapped my towel around me and headed to my bedroom. SItting on my bed was another note.

I wanted to see Luke but he wouldn't answer my texts. I was just about to try and call him when there was a knock at my door. I through on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt as I went to open the door. I didn't even have time to react as Meliny barged into the living room.

"Good morning! Now I have one request and that is for you to come with me." She grabbed my arm and led me out of my apartment. She had grabbed my bag and locked the door.

"Mel? What are we doing?" I didn't stop walking as she headed towards her car.

"No questions!" She unlocked her car door and got in.

"But.."

"Nope! Now sit down, close the door, and shut up." I did as she said and she pulled away from the curb.

"Rude." I mumbled under my breath.

"What did I tell you?" She glanced at me and I raised my hands up.

At this point I was confused. We drove in silence and it was not helping my nerves.

"Look in the glovebox." Meliny said as she took a right turn.

I opened the glovebox and in there was a single white rose and another note.

I need you to do something for me. I need you to take care of my heart. You hold my love and my life in your hands. You have me wrapped around your finger.

I laughed at this and smiled as picket up the rose and carefully put it in my bag along with the note. Meliny had stopped outside of my apartment. I looked at her confused as to why we didn't go anywhere.
