Anything Can Happen (5SOS)

Chapter 4

:) Luke's POV :) 

Ashton left to go to the equipment room like ten minutes ago. He should have been back by now. We were all exhausted from the show but Ashton needed to fix a drum for our next show. Why he had to do it now, I have no idea. Just as I was about to get off the couch the door swung open and in walked Ashton. Empty handed. 

"Hey dude, I thought you were grabbing something from the equip..." I looked up and there were two girls standing behind Ashton. "Oh, Hi. Umm who's your friends Ashton?" I questioned with a slight grin on my face. 

I took in the appearance of the first girl. She was cute. With her long red hair and slightly red face with freckles all over. She wore a Mayday Parade shirt and I smiled. It was an awesome band. Then I looked past her shoulder and I gasped when her eyes landed on mine. She was absolutely gorgeous. Her curled sandy hair landed just below her collar bone. Her eyes weren't just hazel, they were green with flecks of gold. We were still entranced in our own world when she bit her lip from being nervous. My attention was immediately brought to her soft pink lips. Oh, how I would like to kiss her. Wait a minute. What the hell am I thinking. This girl just walked in and I don't even know her name. Ashton's voice brought me out of my trance. 

"This is Meliny," he gestured to the first girl. She surprised us all when she put her fingers up and yelled "Yo yo yo yo yooooo!!" We all went silent and starred at her as her cheeks turned unbelievably red. Then Mikey stood up and did it back. We all busted up laughing and I caught Mikey giving Meliny a small nod and smile as if he knew he saved her from complete embarrassment.

Ashton was laughing when he gestured to the other girl, "and this is Sophie. I found them locked in the equipment room. Apparently Danny found them wondering the halls and put them in there until the show ended. But luckily I got to them first before he could kick them out." He smiled at all of us. 

"Well come on in girls. we don't bite. Well I don't these two might." Calum pointed to both me and Mikey. Mikey leaned over and bit Calum's hand. "Ouch dude! I was joking you dumb nut!!"

"Hey man, it was more of an invitation." Mikey put his hands up in mock surrender. 

I was just sitting at the end of the couch watching all this with amusement. I looked over at the girls who were now sitting on the floor in front of us. They were both laughing hysterically at our idiocy . My eyes landed on Sophie as leaned back and shook her head. Her hair fell in her face and she lazily shook her hand through it. I was caught off guard when Mikey threw a pillow in my face. I looked up and glared at him as he smirked at me. I flipped him off and everyone just laughed. 

"So where you guys from?" Calum asked the girls. 

"We are both from the High Desert which is about two hours from here in LA." Meliny answered. 

"Oh. Do you guys go to school?" I questioned. 

"Well I'm going to Sonoma State College up north to beome a teacher. But we both home right now cause we have break at the moment." Meliny smiled. 

"And I'm going to Cal State Fullerton for a Business major in entertainment and touring management." Sophie proudly stated. 

I could't help but smile in awe at both of them. They had a sparkle in their eyes when they talked about their school life. 

"So entertainment and touring? Does that mean you want to be like a band manager?" Mikey questioned Sophie while he quickly glanced in my direction and smirked. 

"Well eventually yeah. But I'd actually really like to open my own record company. And secretly a bar but I doubt it will happen." Sophie shrugged and looked between all four of us guys sitting on the couch.
