Chapter 16

:) Meliny's POV :) 

I felt something lightly trace my face as I began waking up. I tried swatting it away and it stopped for a few seconds before it started again. What the hell man. I was trying to sleep. I swatted again and instead of hitting something, it grabbed my hand. I heard a deep chuckle and popped my eyes open. I came face to face with a very nice chest of muscles and a feather tattoo. I slowly looked up and was captured by the eyes that looked down at me. Damn. 

"Morning." Calum smiled. His voice was husky and man was it sexy. 

"Morning." I sheepishly replied.

I looked around Sophie's living room and noticed we were the only ones still in here. 

"Where is everyone?" I looked up at Calum.

He ran his hand through his hair, "They all went outside with Sophie to feed the horses." He chuckled, "They are such kids."

I laughed as I saw Calum smiling. We locked eyes and his smile dropped. He became very serious as he leaned down. He paused as if to ask permission before I leaned up and smashed my lips to his. The fire that erupted in my chest was overwhelming. Calum moved himself to where he was hovering over me. I could feel the warmth radiating off his body. He intertwined our fingers and trapped my arms beside my head. He let out a small groan as I licked his bottom lip but he didn't grant me entrance. I groaned in frustration and pushed him so we rolled over and I was straddling his waist. Never breaking the kiss. Calum bit my bottom lip and I gasped, which he immediately took as an opening for him to slide his tongue in. He tasted like mint and just plain manliness. Our lips moved in sync as our heavy breathing became erratic. 

"Oh my God! My eyes! They've been burned!" Ashton yelled as he walked into the house. 

I immediately jumped off of Calum and hid my extremely red face behind a pillow. I heard Calum groan as Ashton laughed. I peeked over the pillow and saw Calum flip off Ashton. Ashton just laughed and turned around to go back outside. I put my head in the pillow again. I felt Calum move towards me. He slowly tore the pillow from my grip and lifted my face so he could see me. His eyes held pure amusement, lust, and happiness. He laughed as I groaned and fell back against the pillows. 

"Mel?" He questioned.

I didn't answer. I starred up at the ceiling. Not even five seconds later, Calum's head came into my view and he smiled down at me.

"You are completely adorable." He chuckled.

I did the most mature thing ever and stuck my tongue out at him. He laughed and got up. He leaned down and grabbed my hands before he pulled me up. As soon as I was off the ground he kissed me again. This kiss was quick and cute. But it still made my heart beat dangerously against my rib cage. 

"Come on. Lets go see what everyone is doing outside." He went to pull away but we heard everyone coming back to the house. "Or not," he chuckled. 

The rest of the boys and Sophie came in from outside. They boys were all pushing each other and started making kissy faces at me and Calum. I buried my face in his chest as I felt my face heat up. I looked over at Sophie and she winked at me before laughing along with the guys. Whatever. I see how it is. 

"Alright! Who wants breakfast?" Sophie yelled as everyone crowded in the kitchen. 

A collective of I do's were yelled and Sophie laughed as she grabbed pots and pans.

Sophie made a buffet of cinnamon rolls, waffles, chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, and fruit for breakfast. The boys ate it all. I laughed as they all plopped down on the pillows and began watching TMNT. I went and sat next to Calum who swung his arm over my shoulder and I snuggled into his side. I watched as Luke got up and went behind Sophie as she washed dishes. He wrapped his arms around her and whispered something in her ear. She smiled and flicked water at him. They were so adorable. I turned back around and noticed Calum staring at me. I looked at him questioningly and he smiled. He leaned down and captured my lips with his. He pulled away all too soon and went back to watching the movie. I rested my head on his shoulder and focused on his steady breathing as I traced patterns over his hand. 

The movie ended and I sighed as I realized I needed to go home and feed my dog and cat. I got up and grabbed my keys. 

"Where you goin'?" Calum and Sophie asked simultaneously. 

"I gotta swing by my house and feed the animals, but I'll be right back."

"Can we come?" Ashton looked at me. 

"Yeah, I don't see why not. Come on." I ushered them to get up and follow me. 

"You comin' Luke?" Michael asked as he noticed Luke wasn't following them. 

"Nah. I think I'll stay here." He smiled as he wrapped his arms around Sophie. 

I smiled as she glared at me for leaving them all alone. It was my turn to wink at her as we walked out of her house and to the car. 

The car ride was quite an adventure. The boys were nonstop singing and goofing around. When we reached my house they all jumped out and ran to the door. I unlocked it and they were bombarded by Sookie, my dog. Michael and Ashton ran and sat on the floor to play with her. My cat went over and crawled into Michael's lap. I laughed and shook my head as I put food out and gave them water. 

I walked back to my room and saw Calum looking around my room. I leaned against the door frame and cleared my throat. I couldn't keep a straight face as he jumped. 

"You have a nice room." He chuckled, "I especially love the posters." 

I groaned as I realized I had posters of all their faces on my wall. I rolled my eyes, "I'm still a fan and always will be." I pushed myself off the door frame and walked over to Calum. I wrapped my arms around him and just listened to his heart beat. It was calming to know that his heart rate sped up as traced patterns on his lower back. It was nice to know I affected him just as much as he affected me. 

"We should probably head back." I muttered against his chest. 

"Mmmm," he mumbled. I went to pull back when he pulled me forward and smashed his lips against mine. I moaned as he nibbled on my bottom lip. I was just about to deepen the kiss when he pulled back.

"I especially like the bras hanging around your room. They're quite sexy." He whispered in my ear and winked as he walked out or my room with a huge smirk on his face.

I stood there too shocked to respond. Damn that boy for snooping around my room. And seriously! It was one bra. I stomped over and ripped the bra off the hanger and stuffed it in a drawer. I walked back out and slapped Calum in the back of the head as I smiled at Ashton and Michael.

"Ready to go?"

"Yup." They both nodded.

We headed out of the house and I locked up. We jumped in the car and headed back to Sophie's. I parked the car outside of Sophie's house and we all jumped out and raced to the door. The boys pushed each other around the whole way there. When we opened the door we walked in and I was not expecting what I saw.

"Seriously!? Again?" Ashton yelled.
