Chapter 6

:) Luke's POV :)

"Hello?" Her voice sounded surprised with a hint of being worried. I scrunched my eyebrows together in confusion. Why is she worried? Crap. Now I'm worried. 

"Hi, Sophie. How are you? Is everything ok?"

"I'm good, how are you? And everything's fine" I smiled as she sounded a little less worried.

"I'm fantastic now that I've heard your voice." I just knew she was blushing and that fact made me a little more happy than it probably should have.

She cleared her throat, "So what did you wanna talk about?"

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date? I mean you don't have to. It's just we are here for about a week and we have today and tomorrow off. I just thought that maybe you would like to hang out and maybe get to know each other a little mo..."

"Luke"

"..re and I understand if you don't want to. It's kind of a long drive to our hotel so if you decide not to..."

"Luke!" I stopped my nervous ranting when I heard her yelling my name. 

"Yeah?" I asked cautiously.

"I would love to go on a date with you." I could hear the sincerity in her voice. 

"Really?"

"Really really." I smiled as I heard her lightly chuckle on the other end. 

"Well then get ready and get your cute butt down here!" She laughed on the other end and my breath hitched. 

"Where are we going?"

"That, darling, is a surprise." I chuckled as heard her huff a 'whatever'. 

"Fine. Give me about two and a half hours. Oh! and text me the address of the hotel and what room number you are." 

"Yes, ma'am!" I laughed at her cute bossy tone.

"Bye Luke, I'll see you in a little bit."

"Bye Soph." I chuckled as I ended the phone call.

Sophie would be here in less than ten minutes and I'm freaking out. 

"Dude, calm down. If she didn't like you she wouldn't be driving all the way down here just to see your dumb ass." Calum sat on my bed throwing a ball against the ceiling. 

"Yeah, but what if she doesn't like where we are going. Or she thinks I'm a total ass. Or something goes wrong and she never wants to see me again. Or what if..."

"Dude! You sound like a girl. Just stop. Breathe. And pull yourself together 'cause the date is gonna go fine. I promise you." Calum finished by throwing the ball at my head and jumping off my bed to walk out of the room.

"Uuuggghhh!" I groan as I fall flat on my bed. I hope everything goes as planned. I stood up and fixed my hair one last time in the mirror. Just as I was about to head out of my room I heard the knock on my door. I froze. This is it. I opened my door and walked out to the living room. 

"I got it!" I yelled. But apparently the guys thought it would be funny to answer the door themselves. We all ran for it and collided at the door. Ashton was the first to grab the door handle and swing it open. 

There she is. Standing at the door slightly surprised by all of us standing there. She looked beautiful. She wore a light grey sweater with leggings and her combat boots. She had on a bright blue and red scarf that brought out her eyes. My breath got caught in my throat as she made eye contact with me and smiled.
