Chapter 10

:) Luke's POV :)

Sophie spent the night after our date and I can honestly say it was the best night of sleep I've had in a long time. Waking up to find her arms wrapped around me and her head resting on my chest was amazing. But she had to leave early 'cause she had work. Now. Now it's been over a week since I've seen her. Since we've seen either of the girls. We've all talked to them nonstop, but we had recording to do. The weeks in LA have flown by and now we have two days left before we head back home. Luckily, these next two days we have off and we can spend them with the girls. 

I grabbed my phone off the bed and called Sophie. She's gonna be pissed it's only five in the morning but we all agreed we needed the girls here as early as possible. 

The phone rang at least six times and I was afraid she wasn't gonna pick up until....

:) Sophie's POV :) 

My phone was ringing. Why in the hell was my phone ringing at five in the morning. I groggily searched for my phone in between my pillows. I felt the cold, stupid device that woke me up and pulled it out so I could see the screen. Are you fucking kidding me?

"Are you fucking kidding me? Do you know what time of morning it is or do you just choose to ignore it for my own torture and your own pleasure?"

I heard Luke chuckle on the other end. He wouldn't be chuckling if I was with him right now. "Wooow... you're cranky in the mornings."

"If you called just to make fun of me when you were the one to wake me up then I think I will go back to my inviting bed that lets me sleep." 

"Wait no! I actually called for a purpose and It'll make up for the fact that it is five in the morning."

I sighed in defeat. I wasn't going back to bed anyways. "Alright, let me hear this oh so amazing purpose."

"Ok, so you know we have to leave soon right."

My heart sank at his words. I'd completely forgot they had to leave. That they didn't actually live here. "I'm not liking this purpose so far." I tried to sound joking but I know the underlying tone of sadness was present. Luke knew it to. 

"Sophie. Just hear me out. It gets better I promise." His voice was softer than normal and I knew he wasn't happy about leaving either. 

You leaving does not get better. "Ok, continue this with this purpose."

"The boys, well mostly I, want to see you, and Meliny, before we leave. So basically you need to pack for two days and get your cute little butt down here."

"You realize I have to go wake up the beast right? She's worse than me in the mornings."

"Ummmm.... actually you just have to pick her up. Calum and Michael are taking care of waking her up right now."

"Oh boy, they are gonna be in for it when she sees them." I laughed as I imagined Meliny tackling them to the ground.

"I know. I can hear her yelling from the phone and they are in another room." Luke chuckled. "Alright, go get ready 'cause I wanna spend as much time with you as possible."

"Yes, sir!" I mocked a stern voice. 

"OOOO... I am your boss.? 'Cause you can be my sexy little secretary." I could feel the grin on his face oozing through the phone.

"Hell no! I'm the boss! You can be the "sexy little secretary." As long as you wear those short skirts and high heels that make your legs look like perfection." At this point I was on the floor trying desperately to keep from laughing. It wan't working.
