Anything Can Happen (5SOS)

Chapter 7

:) Meliny's POV :)

So Sophie is on a date with Luke and I'm stuck at home.. quite bored might I add. I was sitting on my couch, snuggling with my cat when my phone buzzed next to me. I grabbed it and was surprised at what I saw. 

Ashton: "Hey, what are you up to right now?"

I smiled and responded.

"Nothing at the moment. You?"

"Well me and the rest of the guys wanted to know if you wanted to hang out somewhere since Luke is on a date with Soph."

"Sure, what did you guys have in mind?"

"Well we figured we would meet you half way and maybe go to the fair?"

"I would love to!"

"Ok cool. We will see you in around an hour"

"Sweet :) see you then"

I jumped off the couch and did a weird little dance. I'm hanging out with the boys!!!! I ran towards my room and changed out of my pajamas. As soon as I had on my Pierce of Veil shirt with blue jeans and my red converse, I grabbed my keys and ran to my car. The whole way down there I jammed out to 5SOS and One Direction. About an hour later I was standing under the most terrifying ride waiting for the boys. I really hope they don't make me go on the Ferris wheel. 

I glanced down at my watch and sighed. The boys should have been here five minutes ago. I looked up and screamed. I was so startled I almost fell back but a pair of hands wrapped around my waist. I didn't even notice I had closed my eyes until I forced them open to look at who caught me. My breath hitched as I stared straight into Calum's eyes. He smiled and helped me back onto my feet. I looked over at Michael and Ashton who were almost on the ground from laughing so hard. 

"That was mean you guys. Sticking your face," I pointed to Michael, "in my face unexpectedly, was rude."

"Oh come on Mel. You know it was funny. I mean look at Ashton, he can't even stand up straight he's laughing so hard." 

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "You guys are mean." I began walking away. I barely took two steps before a hand grabbed my elbow. The sparks that sizzled at the touch made me gasp in surprise. I turned around to come face to face with Michael. I gave him a glare. 

"What?" 

"I'm sorry. Really, I am. I was just trying to surprise you. I didn't think you would freak like you did."

I glared at him and went to turn around. Just to have him grab my elbow. I arced my eyebrow and glared at him once again. 

"It was cute." Michael smiled down at me. Now I probably looked like a tomato and he was laughing at me again which just caused my blush to deepen. 

"Yeah, whatever." I whispered. 

Ashton and Calum came up next to me and Michael. 

"Well, what do you guys wanna do first?" Calum glanced at all of us. 

I didn't even have to think twice before I loudly spilled out, "the fair games!"

"Alrighty then, to the games we go!" Ashton yelled. He looped his arm through mine and started skipping while singing, we're off to see the wizard. I was laughing so hard that I was gasping for air when we finally reached the games. Both Mikey and Calum were behind us goofing about something and pushing each other around. I couldn't help but smile as I saw these three boys around me becoming a part of my life.

It had been about 45 minutes and I was walking around with a huge giraffe that Michael won me in a basketball game and now we are standing at the balloon dart booth. Calum is determined to win the elephant hanging at the top of the tarp. He had tried at least four other times. He swears the fifth time is the charm. He had two darts left and one balloon to pop. He focused and breathed in. I couldn't help but notice his muscles flex when he threw the dart. It missed the balloon. He was down to one dart. It was his last chance and boy was he feeling the pressure. He glanced at me and I smiled at him. For some reason that gave him the confidence he needed 'cause he breathed in again and threw the dart. Next thing we hear is the pop of the balloon. We all jump up and down yelling that Calum was "The Man." 

Calum turned to me and winked. He got down on one knee and held up the elephant. 

"My lady, I wish to give you the prize of my accomplishments." He winked again and chuckled as a blush showed on my face. I grabbed the elephant and smiled sweetly at him. 

"Thank you Calum."

"No problem." He smiled as he got up off the floor. 

Ashton cleared his throat, "so what do we wanna do know?"

Michael and Calum both screamed, "Ferris wheel!!!"

I groaned. I hated Ferris wheels. They were just plain terrifying. 

"OOO is the girly girl afraid of the Ferris wheel???" Michael mocked. 

I crossed my arms and huffed, "matter of fact I am!"

"Well too bad 'cause you are coming with us." Ashton stated as he began walking towards the Ferris wheel. 

"Don't worry Mel, I won't let anything happen to you." Michael smiled reassuringly. 

"Either will I." Calum added as they both took each of my hands and we began walking towards the Ferris wheel.

"Guys, are you really gonna make me go on this?" We were up next to step onto the ferris wheel.

"Yes, yes we are." They all said simultaneously which made me laugh. 

The operator looked at us and said we had to step on. The boys practically had to drag me on. I was sitting there in between Michael in Calum clutching their hands like my life depended on it. Ashton was sitting across from us trying not to laugh at me. We were reaching the top of the Ferris wheel when a small whimper accidentally escaped my lips. Ashton was't close enough to hear it but Michael and Calum were. They squeezed my hands and I smiled appreciatively. 

We just reached the peak of the Ferris wheel and if I wasn't so scared I would say the view was beautiful but that wasn't happening. Instead I closed my eyes ridiculously tight. Just as I let out a shaky breath I felt something on either side of my cheeks. I opened my eyes and realized both Mikey and Calum were kissing my cheeks. My face immediately went red and they pulled away chuckling at my shocked facial expression. I looked over at Ashton and he smirked and winked at me before turning back around to look out at the view. I ducked my head and hid behind my hair. 

I was just kissed by both Calum and Michael. Oh my God!!!! I didn't even realize that we had exited the ferris wheel and were headed towards the car park until I felt the exact same sensation on my cheeks as before. They were kissing my cheeks again. They pulled away all to quickly. 

"Goodnight Mel, We had a lot of fun tonight. We hope to see you again." Ashton came over and hugged me. 

Calum looked at me and smiled, "See you soon sweet cheeks." He turned and left with Ashton. 

"Bye cutie." Michael winked at me and jogged to join the others. I stood there in shock for a good ten minutes before I walked to my car and jumped in. I drove home with a smile on my face that would last for days on end.
