After getting out of Yoongi's automobile, you and Yoongi met up with Jimin and headed into the mansion. The Min estates are immaculate, one of the finest you've been in. You haven't had a chance to meet up with your Aunt since you've been back in Korea. The last time you visited Yoongi and your Aunty was before your mother passed away. You fell into depression after both of your parents died. If it weren't for Seokjin helping you, you probably would be six feet under with them. You met Jin your senior year in college at the library on campus, where he worked as a librarian. He relocated from Korea, and he was shy because he wasn't keen on the English language. You helped him with his English, and he taught you more about the Korean culture since you were based out in the US for your whole existence. You are biracial, your dad is Puerto Rican, and your mother is Korean. They met in Korea when your dad was stationed there. They fell madly..~ deeply in love—their affection is shown brightly through you, their only daughter, when your dad died in combat in some war-torn country. Your mom was never the same. Her health declined, and she passed away from cancer. Her friends always say that she died of a broken heart after losing the love of her life. Seokjin has been through it all with you. That is the part that you miss the most about him. You love him to the moon and back. You thought he felt the same way. Now you don't even know that man anymore.
All of you got seated at the dining room table for some dinner. You sat next to Jimin while Yoongi sat next to his mom. The atmosphere was great. You missed your Aunty Hanbyeol. She always treated you as if you were her daughter. Your mom always would say, you are beautiful like your Aunty Hanbyeol that you could pass for her twin. “So, how are things with you, Princess?” Aunty Hanbyeol spoke in a sweet loving voice. “I haven't heard that nickname in a while, Aunty. I've been doing ok. I was trying to sort things out before getting married.” You felt awkward talking about it because the earlier events of the day are still engraved in your mind and heart. You didn't want to break down in front of everyone. After a brief conversation, was attained all of you went to the living room.
Yoongi's mom sat next to you on the loveseat. Yoongi and Jimin sat across both of you on separate armchairs. Everything was going smoothly, and it was a lovely evening --- until..~ an unexpected shift turned everything in your world upside down once again. Aunty Hanbyeol grabbed your hands as she spoke. “Y/N, your parents didn't want me to say a word to you unless something happened to them. The letter on the coffee table is for you to read from your mom and dad.” She gathered up her strength to go on. “I am your biological mother.” You retorted, “WHAT!!! How can this possibly be? My mom and dad were inseparable.” She cupped your cheeks and wiped your tears away. “You aren't a product of an affair, my daughter. Your mother, my best friend since childhood, couldn't conceive and asked me to be a surrogate. Yoongi's dad was ok with it, and everyone else involved agreed that..~ it should be done. So we proceeded to take action, and you are that product of this surrogacy. Your dad is your biological father making my son Yoongi your half-brother who is a year older than you.”
The whole ordeal dumbfounded you. You couldn't even utter a word. “I understand you need time to process things, Princess. Take all the time you need. Remember that your brother and I..~ love you. We would like you to join us at our residence shortly. You are family, and we want you here with us.” She hugs you tight before petting your back. “I love you so much, my daughter.” She embraces you one last time before letting you go with Jimin. After that shocking news, Jimin takes you for a tour around the mansion as Yoongi and his mom discusses a private matter concerning you.
