Jamal was more than ready to go. Too bad he had one more class go. He stared the clock down. When the clocked struck 1:06 he rushed out his 4th block class.
Ok Jamal, one more to go. He told himself.
He walked into his debate class. His teacher was Coach Jones. Coach was a really cool dude. Very chilled, and laid back. It actually made Jamal's day easier at the lack of work Coach gives in the class.
"Wassup Coach!"
"King."
"Oh you know it."
Coach shook his head. A few students smacked their lips. Jamal ignored all of this, but it was a pair of dark brown eyes that had caught his attention. She was rolling her eyes at his cockiness. A grin appeared on his face as he strutted over to her and sat in the seat directly next to her.
"Wassup girl!" He said while purposely hitting her thigh really hard.
She winced from the pain and then shot him a mean glare. "Leave me alone Jamal."
"Why? You ain't miss me?"
"What's there to miss?" She shot back.
"Now baby you know you liked it when I had you pent down on the ground."
Her cheeks flushed a bright red and she turned her head away from him. Jamal smiled because he knew he had her blushing.
Ebony couldn't lie, Jamal did have her feeling some type of way, but Akia warned her about him. He was player and Ebony didn't have time for games.
"Shut up Jamal." Was all she could think of to say.
"You know you don't want me to." Jamal started playing in Ebony's hair.
She swatted his hand away. "You are so childish!"
"Yal two done?" Coach said interrupting their interaction. "I would like to get class started."
"Go head coach. The floor is yours."

2:35. RING.
Rodney was more than glad to hear the final bell of the day ring. Everybody rushed out the classroom, except him. He wanted to wait until the wave of students somewhat cleared the hall. He learned his lesson early about going in the hallway too soon. Those kids were animals and didn't care how big or small. You can get ran over just like the others. But to prevent it, you gotta keep up.
Jamal fell into step right next to his cousin. "How was the first day Rod?"
"It was cool. Most definitely different from Germany."
"I bet, but look though, imma holla at you later."
"Where you finna go?"
Jamal was hesitant and Rodney picked up on this. "I'm about to go help moms with something."
"Alright fool."
Rodney watched as Jamal went to his car and got in it to leave.
Rodney turned on this small device hooked to his shirt and spoke into it. "King is on the move. Jones is nowhere insight."
Ross spoke back to him through the mic in his ear. "Agent Sly, I need you to follow him."
Rodney turned the device off. He watched his cousin drive to the entrance of the parking lot and make a left. Rodney was for sure the light at the end of the road would catch him, giving Rodney time to make it to his car, and be at a good following distance.
Rodney got into his car and turned in the same direction as Jamal. As he was approaching the light, it had turned green. Jamal sped off making a right turn.
Rodney followed suit. He did this until Jamal stopped in front of a white house. The paint was chipping off the exterior of the home, and it looked run down. The grass was uneven and there was a old beat up car in the driveway.
This surely isn't his mom's office. Rodney thought.
Rodney quickly bypassed the house and turned the corner. He stopped where he could still see Jamal and the home but Jamal couldn't see him.
Jamal got out the car and walked to the door and did this patterned knock of rymth.
Rodney would have to learn this method.
The door slowly creaked open and an old dark skin man with a grey beard came out. He was skin and bones. Literally. He started scratching his skin in various places when he started talking to Jamal.
Rodney figure the man was trying to get one over on Jamal from the look of disgust on his face.
The man took his shaking hand and shoved it into his pocket and slapped some money into Jamal's hand.
An exchange of drugs and money had been made.
Rodney turn his secret device on and heard Ross voice speak.
"Well, what did you find?"
Rodney hesitated. Could he really give his cousin up to the feds. He himself was the feds. What would his family think of him? He wouldn't be able to live with himself knowing he put his two best friends behind bars, but he loved his job. Loosing his job would crush him. He wouldn't have a purpose and probably wouldn't be able to work again. The agency would ruin his record.
"Nothing." Rodney spoke. "King was just visiting his mother."
He quickly turned the device off and sighed. Why can't his life be any easier?
