Gregory and Freddy spent some time after lunch in the living room, mostly just colouring and chatting quietly. Gregory did some drawings for each of his new friends and folded them all up very neatly so he could stick them in his pocket. He then turned to Freddy and asked, "Hey Freddy? Do you know where Roxanne is? I want to give her something!"
Freddy looked a little surprised, but he gave the kid a tip off anyways, "I heard Foxy say earlier that he would fix up her bike, so they're probably in the garage. Just make sure you knock before you go in kid,"
"Okay! Thank you Freddy," Gregory called as he ran off into the kitchen to go through the garage entrance.
He stood in front of the door, shuffling on his feet for a bit. He finally gathered up the courage and knocked on the door to the garage. He was a bit impatient now as he pressed his ear up against the door. He heard some whirring before it quickly stopped and Ford opened up the door. Gregory quickly caught himself and stepped back from the door a bit. Ford wiped some of the motor oil and grease off his hands before wiping his brow.
"Well, if it isn't the skipper! What do you need?" Ford asked as he kneeled down and raised an eyebrow at Gregory.
Gregory laughed a little at him. The poor man's face was absolutely covered in motor oil. He gave Ford a bashful glance before he took a paper out of his bag and handed it to him, "I was looking for Roxy but... you're here instead, so I'll give you yours first!"
Ford was very intrigued by the paper. He made sure he didn't get any dirt or grease on it as he opened it up. It was a few little drawings of him with a much more exaggerated eye patch and some funny looking fox ears. And Gregory also wrote him a small message; 'Thank you for letting me stay. Ps, you don't scare me!'
Ford groaned and leaned over dramatically, holding the paper close to his heart, "AAAARGH, Ye shot a cannonball right thru me heart skipper! I shan't recover from this 'ere fatal wound!" He then cleared his throat, bowed down to accept the applause for his award winning performance, and patted the kids head.
He smirked as Gregory laughed at the display. He cleared his throat and continued, "On a more serious note! Thank you, Gregory, it's a very nice gift. Roxy is in the back finishing up, don't let her bark scare ya," Ford said as he waved and left the garage. He barged into the living room and Gregory could hear him shouting with Freddy, "Man Freddy! Tell your cousin I'm stealing her kid! He's too good for you!"
"WHAT- FOXY GET BACK HERE AND EXPLAIN YOURSELF, NO NO PUT THE PHONE DOWN-"
Gregory apologized for the chaos, only a little bit guilty. He walked into the garage and looked around at all the tools. There were mostly automobile parts and tools, but there was also a small station where it looked like Ford was doing some other more tech related things. He had seen some similar supplies at Blue Bonnet, but Foxy was probably doing much better things with them. He then spotted Roxy sitting next to a motorbike. She had her hair tied up for once so it was out of her face. She also wore some much more comfortable red sweatpants and a black tank, with a jacket tied at her waist.
The bike was black with a red and purple shell and some really neat detailing on it. Roxy finished what she was doing and stood up to look at it, only now noticing Gregory. She groaned and walked over.
"Does Freddy need something?" She asked, resting her hand on her hip and trying to wipe the grease off her cheek with a rag.
Gregory shook his head, "No... I had something I wanted to give you," he then hesitantly fished the paper out of his pocket and handed it to Roxy.
