Everything was dark, the ground cold and hard. His body felt so weak and his head ached. The pain crashed into him like waves, blasting him before slowly receding only to come back again just as strong. He slowly forced his eyes open and only saw white walls and fluorescent lights. The brightness did nothing to mitigate his fears, nor his headache. Where was he? He had never seen a place like this before.
He sat up and propped himself against the wall for support. He kept glancing around at the room, hoping for at least something familiar. Alas, there was nothing, save for his old black striped shirt and blue shorts. He still had one of his old and worn brown shoes, but the other one was missing. He also became aware of the bandages on him that restricted some of his movement.
It was then that he remembered a little, but not enough to piece together the confusing puzzle of events. He was waiting for his brother outside the school, but he was late. It wasn't the first time, so he just decided to start walking home on his own. He was a big kid now, he could walk down the street on his own! He felt foolish thinking back on it now. Someone hit him on the back of the head, but it wasn't enough to knock him out fully. He scrambled, getting cut and tossed around as he foolishly fought for his meager life. He really thought that he died when his vision went black then. Apparently, he was still kicking. He remembered an old idiom his mother used to say, something about being stubborn like a cockroach...
Drip drip. Two pathetic little droplets landed on his hands as he cried alone. Where was his brother? Did he forget about him? Maybe he didn't want to look after him anymore. After their mom died, they were on their own, and his brother did everything for him. He would always be cold towards his little brother. He would call him a cry baby and tease him relentlessly, but despite this, he would still buy him a pizza when he was upset. He would still fold his laundry for him. He would still share any candy he got on Halloween with him. He would still hug him when he cried. He would still care for him. What was the final straw...? Had he really been abandoned...?
'No, no no no. You can't think like that Evan!' He tried to reassure himself as he wiped away the tears on his face. He looked around the room and couldn't really see much besides a small vent and a metal door. He stood up shakily, feeling another wave of pain. It was a sad reminder that he really had been hit pretty hard. He shuffled hesitantly to the door and gave the handle a slow twist. Nothing. He turned to the vent and hobbled over. Nothing again. It was too small for him to squeeze into, even if he was in better shape.
He was stuck. It really was hopeless. There wasn't even a window or anything in this room. Just four cold white walls. He sat back down against the wall and tried to think, but he was still too tired. He fell into a restless, tear filled sleep. He waited for something to change, for someone to save him. Even if he knew that no one would come to save him.

Manon had been hard at work, Freddy really had to commend him for that. He was able to somehow acquire some security badges that could be used to move around the facility! He knew that he could count on him. Foxy had also been working hard the past week and he was able to also snag a special watch used by some of the security guards. It was able to remotely access the cameras in the facility.
Freddy hadn't been idle this week either, although his efforts weren't as impressive. He was in decent shape, but admittedly a little round... he worked hard and lost 3 pounds! Yeah it wasn't much of a difference... but he tried! And Sunny was a great life coach. Except when he fell asleep on the job, but hey, he's just a little kid. Gotta give the poor guy some slack.
He had been antsy waiting the full seven days, but Manon reassured him that Gregory would probably be fine and that they needed to be amply prepared. They really only had one chance to do this. Blue Bonnet would definitely up their security if they failed.
