"fell for me"
Needless to say what happened at the party was now being gossiped by the students. Willa walked through the halls with a blank face. Don't get her wrong she was grateful that Clay would go out of his way and pass their feud to stop people from sexualizing her but at that party, he didn't had the right to claim her.
She scoffed and smashed her locker annoyed. "Whoa." Will's voice was heard from behind her. She huffed and turned to her twin. "What?" she asked. He sighed and showed her the message, "Teams have meetings with the coaches." He said.
She sighed gripped her things and walked with her twin to the indoor basketball court of their school. She clenched her jaw the moment they walked in. All of the teams were there.
Will patted her back and jogged to his team while Willa walked calmly to the cheer team. Niki sending her a small smile. She sighed and sat next to her.
They turned to see the coaches in front of them. Phil glanced between her and Clay who was quiet prompting the football team to keep their mouth shut.
Kara cleared her throat and Felix sighed. He crossed his arms and sent the captains a look. "So we heard about the captains' party last night." He said. Clay rubbed his face as Willa pursed her lips playing with her fingers.
"Let's cut this short they have classes." Jordan said with a sigh. Phil hummed and clapped his hands, "We'll keep this simple. We lost multiple school partnerships." He said. The teams groaned which made Clay sink deeper on his seat.
Carver patted his back as Phil continued. "We don't blame anyone, its common courtesy and respect to protect our cheers." He said. Kara hummed and nodded, "With that said we just want you all to work harder this season. Especially captains. All of you are seniors." Kara said.
The captains nodded and glanced at each other. Except for Clay and Willa. Callum sighed, "Alright so practice schedules!" he yelled as they started to discuss the schedules.
It was gonna be harder this season and Clay knew it was his fault. The guilt was eating him up. He didn't know what the hell happened to him which made him groan internally.
Frustratingly he rubbed his face again as he tried to listen to Phil and Felix who were discussing about the sharing of the field every practice.
Once they finished the teams and coaches started to wander out of the court and to their respected classrooms. George cleared his throat and Clay nodded. Nick patted his back as he grabbed his bag and walked to where the cheer team was.
Niki looked at him confused but he stood behind Willa who was still annoyed. "Baker." He said. She froze and looked up. Niki shrugged and walked to where Tina was waiting for her. "I'll see you in English. Clay." She said and then joined the others.
When there was just a few people left Willa finally spoke and continued to fix her things. "What?" she asked. Clay sighed and gritted his teeth. "I- Fuck." He grumbled.
Willa turned around and raised an eyebrow at him. "What?" she asked again. "I'm not sorry about what I did." he said. She scoffed, "Thompson are you hearing yourself right now?" she asked as she crossed her arms.
From behind Willa Clay could see George and Nick facepalm at his idiotic choice of words. "You lost us our school partnerships-" "I know." He cut her off.
"And you're not sorry about that?" she asked him. "I am." He said with a frustrated sigh. She furrowed her eyebrows, "You're giving me mixed signals here Thompson." She said.
