Chapter 27

I rose from my seat and went closer to him. Hinawakan ko ang magkabila niyang pisngi at unti-unting inilapit ang mukha ko sa mukha niya. I closed my eyes the moment our lips touched. 

Butterflies flew in my stomach when he responded to my kiss. He held my nape to pull me closer to him, and then he made me sit on his lap. Our kiss is getting deeper and more passionate. I can feel my body heating up. I can hear his heavy breathing. 

We broke the kiss for a minute to catch our breath. 

Aaron leaned in to whisper something in my ear. "Mira, you're driving me crazy." 

I gulped. His voice sounded so seductive. It sparked something within me. 

"I love everything about you," he huskily added. He kissed my forehead. He kissed both my cheeks. He kissed my chin. He kissed my nose. And then he kissed my lips again. 

I froze when my body suddenly started to feel weird. 

Sh*t. Bakit ngayon pa?

"Mira, is there a problem?" Aaron asked when he noticed that I stopped moving. He held both of my cheeks and stared straight into my eyes. 

I didn't speak. Instead, I pulled him into an embrace. Ipinatong ko ang ulo ko sa balikat niya at pumikit nang mariin.

When I opened my eyes, Aaron was gone, and I'm not in control of my body anymore. I am in a scene right now.

I just found myself inside someone's car. This car is actually familiar. Is this Caleb's? Gusto kong tignan kung sino ang nagda-drive, but since I'm not in control of my body right now, I can't. 

"Caleb, where are we going?" tanong ko sa aking katabi at nilingon siya. 

I see. I am indeed inside Caleb's car. 

Saglit na tinignan niya ako at nginitian. "You will know when we get there," he said with his eyes fixed on the road. 

After a few minutes of driving, he stopped the car in front of an abandoned house. 

I gulped. Gabi na, at dinala niya ako sa isang abandonadong bahay. Don't tell me he's gonna m*rder me here?

I turned to him with my eyes wide open. "W-What are we doing here?" kinakabahang tanong ko.

He chuckled softly. "We used to live here. I just want to show you something. Don't worry, I won't do you any harm," aniya. "Let's go."

Few moments later, I just found myself climbing through a ladder leading to a tree house. 

"This is yours?" manghang tanong ko kay Caleb. 

"Yes," he answered.
