"I talked to Faith earlier," Aaron told me. "I broke up with her."

"R-Really? How are you feeling? Are you alright?" nag-aalalang tanong ko.
"To be honest, I feel relieved. Our relationship had always been toxic. I think I just dodged a bullet." He chuckled.
I smiled warmly at him. "Is that so? Good for you. I hope you find your true happiness," I told him with all sincerity.
"Thank you." He smiled. "I wish the same for you."
"Thanks," aniko.
We sat in silence for a minute before Aaron decided to break it.
"Mira, do you want to go to a food park?" tanong niya, kaya bigla akong nabuhayan. "There's a food park near here."
"Sure!" I excitedly exclaimed. I love food parks!
"Great. Let's go."
After approximately five minutes of walking, we arrived at the food park.
I roamed my eyes around the area with my mouth slightly open. Whoa, there are food stalls everywhere! Also, lights of various colors are all over the place. Everything looks amazing --- the food, the stalls, the people, everything! It feels like Christmas here.
Sa 'di kalayuan, may nakita akong nagtitinda ng isaw. Bigla akong nakaramdam ng gutom.
Hinila-hila ko ang damit ni Aaron para lingunin niya ako.

He chuckled softly. "Hindi ko alam na kumakain ka pala ng gano'n," aniya.
"Ngayon alam mo na," natatawang wika ko at hinila na siya palapit doon.
Matapos bumili at kumain, napagdesisyunan naming maglibot-libot sa lugar para maghanap ng pwede pang kainin. Sa sobrang daming food stalls, hindi ako makapag-decide kung anong bibilhin.
Napahinto naman kami sa paglalakad at gulat na nagkatinginan nang makarinig kami ng malakas na kulog. Tumingala ako sa langit. The stars, and even the moon are gone. Oh, my God. It's about to rain! People around us are starting to panic as well.
I chuckled. "Run!" I exclaimed before running. I heard Aaron laugh before following me. "Let's head back to your apartment before the rain falls!" sabi ko sa kaniya. He just gave me an 'OK' sign.
Maya-maya pa, kung kailan nangangalahati na kami, at saka pa bumuhos ang ulan. At dahil nga basa na rin kami, huminto na kami sa pagtakbo at naglakad na lamang.
