Kaizen is like the summer spring,
Ikigai feels more like the winter cold.

--------------------
I knew I had to start another poem book after I had decided to keep Kaizen upto 15 chapters only, so, Ikigai it was.
Sometimes, I felt that Ikigai was a substitute for Kaizen, like, it wasn't independent or something and it made me sad because Ikigai in itself is a collection of beautiful poems, they both serve the same purpose.
And I was slightly more attached to Kaizen and I still am, because, hey, it was my first completed book.
After I told this to someone I was well acquainted to, they told me the above words, and at first, I felt it was because of the colour palette of the covers, but after reading Kaizen and Ikigai a couple (more than just a couple) of times, I realised what they had meant.
Reading Kaizen gave me peace and hope somehow, and though Ikigai also has many uplifting, hopeful poems, it doesn't feel the same.
But that doesn't mean Ikigai was any less. Ikigai gives me those sad feels, which were heartbreaking but comforting at the same time, it made me realise different ways of how people can get hurt and it made me realise the things I shouldn't do at any cost.
I feel like it changed me. I became more cautious around people, not in a 'I-don't-wanna-get-hurt' kind of way but more like, 'I-want-you-to-feel-comfortable
-around-me".
I say sorry so many times now, I'd be a millionaire if someone paid me everytime I say sorry, but honestly, I know why I say it, and I know it isn't a waste, and that is all that matters.
Again, thank you everyone, for listening, for being here, for reading this long long rant about how proud I am of both of my books, seriously, thank you.
bye-bye, see you very soon.
hacs.
