" that night when I came over Meredith was threatening to kick me out to you, I came over as I didn't want to stay in the same walls as meredith, when I got to yours you were more or less occupied to say the least so I went to dad's to try and get some sleep at somewhere that wasn't the hospital he beat me until he was passed out, my head was bleeding for most of the night and I awoke with a blood covered pillow, I came into work as if nothing had happened. I was wearing makeup to cover up the black eye and some of the other cuts, I didn't notice I had hurt my arm but I knew my stomach was bruised but I think it is worse than it originally appeared" I say tears trickling down my face.

I'm not sure what happened after I said all that all I know is I woke up in a hospital bed with lexie sat next to me." Lex, what happened " I mutter," finally your awake, you had some internal bleeding but your fine now, you passed out in the car when we were going back to the my apartment" lexie says getting up and walking to stand next to me."I'm gonna go get some of your stuff from merediths and put it at mine I'll be back In a couple of hours" lexie mumbles before leaving the room.
I sit there staring at the sealing until j hear a voice that I immediately recognised," I heard a rumour that you were here and well I guess that it was true" rider says coming to sit on the seat where lexie previously was. I pat a spot on the bed for him to join me," it would be rude not to" I say smiling," of course" He say lying down next to me," I did bring my laptop, want to finish that episode" He says pulling me closer, I nod and rest my head on his chest.i knew if meredith came in she would kill us both and lexie will probably interagate him, but I'm sure he will pass with flying colours.

After we have watched a few episodes I feel my self finding I harder to stay awake, so I let my self melt into him and....I wake up a few hours later still no sign of lexie, rider was still asleep so I closed my eyes and let my mind drift back into a heavy sleep.
As I am waking up I feel rider's arms wrapped around me and one is rubbing my back. I smile and move closer to him not that, that was physically possible.
" I think its cute," I hear lexie say to someone."I think he should be removed from the room" meredith grumbles." I think you should shut up" I grunt to meredith. I hear lexie laugh." Care to introduce us" lexie says walking over to sit in the chair." Later let me sleep" I moan moving myself further into rider," I don't think you can physically get any closer you know" rider say not letting go, I make a form of what I think is a noise as I am already falling back to sleep.

I wake up once again to feel riders arm still wrapped around me," your awake"rider says quietly as he knew lexie was asleep in the chair next to us," Yeah, um I think that day off might come sooner than you think so what did you want to ask last night on the phone" I ask quietly." Would you like me to take you out on a date"rider questions nervously." What you two talking about"lexie says as she wakes up,"not much" I say smiling." I better go back to my brother,"rider say releasing me but grabing my hand and and then walking off until he couldn't reacher it any more. I smile until I realise lexie was still in the room.
"He's cute"she say lying down next to me," shut up " I say resting my head on her shoulder," when can we go home" I continue. "I'm taking you back to merediths tomorrow, but I'm going to stay with you for a few days, until you want me to leave" lexie says holding my hand," what if I don't want you to leave"i say closing my eyes," You've been asleep for most of the day on the boy who's name I still don't know," lexie say rubbing her thumb across my hand, " I've been asleep because I haven't slept properly since you left and if you really want to know his name, it is rider, but you have to promise that you won't tell meredith that she not exactly fond of him" I say with my eyes still closed." She did worse when she was 16, well technically 15 but that's not the point,I like him and I'm sure she will to eventually" lexie says kissing my forehead and letting me go to sleep

I wake up and its the next day lexie is still asleep I see there is a wheelchair next to the bed, I slowly move to the wheelchair to avoid waking lexie, I wheel myself to benjis room as I know that he hasn't been discharged yet.
" Hey, how are you benji" I say grabbing his chart and seeing when he's being discharged," lily hi, why are you in a hospital gown, and in a wheelchair" benji questions," nothing to worry you head about, i see you going to be discharged tomorrow," I sigh as I won't be the one to do it but I can still try and be here.
" Lily hi," rider says coming out of the bathroom putting a shirt on, I can't help but stare I knew he had muscles but wow, his abs were more defined than what I used to look at under a microscope," enjoying the view" he teases." I better get back to my room, I try to see you before you leave tomorrow" I smile and start to wheel out. I get out the door and round the corner.until I feel someone grab the back of the chair and push it," thought you might want some help" rider says pushing me throughout the corridor.
We arrive at my room and he put the wheelchair out side the door and offers his hand to help me stand up as I do he picks me up bridal style, I we open the door we see meredith, sat on the sofa that was facing the door but rider seems unfazed about her he puts me in the bed and lies next to me with his phone in hand putting on criminal minds."I'll be back In a bit" meredith mutters. Now it was just rider and I left in the room lexie had disappeared for a bit but it was nice just him and I." We never got to finish our conversation earlier" he says putting one of his arms over my shoulder," yes" I blurt," yes I will go on a date with you" I finish by resting my head in the crook of his neck.

I must have fallen asleep as when I woke up I was in the car and wondering how I got there," how did i get in the car" I stammer."Well I would have put you in a wheelchair but that boy rider wouldn't let me so he carried you" lexie say rubbing her thumb across the back of my hand," hes very sweet, and he's fond of you, plus a bonus is he isn't scared of meredith" she continues as she drives to merediths house.we pull up to the house five minutes later I haven't mentioned the fact that I have a date as I know lexie will get overexcited and meredith well she will probably kill him or me.
" I'm home," I yell as I get through the door," baby grey" Alex shouts from the top of the stairs.
" Hey," meredith says wrapping her arms around me," I'm sorry for being an ass" she continues.
" whatever," I say pulling away from the hug leaving meredith and lexie stood the shocked.i walk up to my room and collapse on my bed braking down crying, but that was the least of my worrys, right now.
" you don't get to walk away, i apologised, and you walk away" meredith yells storming into my room without even noticing the tears that were free falling down my face.i stand up and hug her," I'm sorry" I say hugging her tighter.
"Hey, it's ok go lie down and lexie and I will join you in 5 minutes" meredith mumbles kissing my forehead, before turning to leave.

I hear my phone ring and see that it'd rider," what's up," I say smiling.
" do you want me to pick you up on Friday, you know for our date" He say running his hands trough his hair.
" yeh that will be fine what time"i mumble
" 6 o'clock, and wear something casual" He says before hanging up.
I lie in my bed for a good half hour until lexie and meredith come in with a bottle of tequila and a can of sprite, I sigh as I know there is going to be crying not from me or meredith but from lexie." Again not old enough to drink" I say flopping my head back to my bed,
" I'm mean I'm sure you can try a bit"lexies say looking pleasingly at meredith.
" fine, but only one" meredith say join lexie and I on the bed.
" againg sorry for being an ass"
