I woke up gasping for air, sweat thickly coating my body. It racked in shivers and muscle spasms, this one had been much worse than normal. There was so many teeth, and people I knew, I starred into Carl's, Sash's, and Noah's eyes as they teared me apart while Rick kept yelling "you could have saved them. You could have saved them."
I couldn't loose consciousness, so I had to watch as they teared my body apart. Until one finally reached my heart and squeezed, causing me to jolt awake. I ran my hand through my wet hair, feeling my forehead. My skin felt burning hot under my finger tips. My tongue felt swollen and dry, I needed water. Water would help. I stood and immediately regretted it, the floor slid and swayed beneath my feet as I grasped the bed. The door creaked a bit when I opened it, everyone was sleeping in the same house, not wanting to be separated. I really didn't want to wake anyone.
Slowly I made my way across the hall towards the stairs, Daryl lay asleep on the couch beside the book self, his feet propped up. The world tumbled and another wave of nausea hit me, my brain exploded inside my head. I couldn't scream, it was just a constant pounding in my head while I struggled to breath.
My knees caved in and I was sent towards the stairs, I felt the cold steps hit my body a few times before I finally gave out to the pain. Letting it consume me, taking away my sight, and the world around me.
...
There was light thin blue sheets around me, and a window on the side of the room. I don't remember how I had gotten here, in fact I don't remember anything from last night. Except the pain and falling, I winced as I stretched. Pulling up my shirt I saw my ribs were bruised quite a bit, a large purple and blue patch forming a third of my stomach. My arms were bruised and there was a small cut on my wrist that had four stitches woven through it.
"Hi. I'm Pete the doctor here in Alexandria." An older man said entering the room. He was overly friendly and carried himself in a slouch, a mop of blond hair on his head. I noticed a shiny golden wedding ring on his finger, and I wondered if she was here in Alexandria.
"Thanks?" I said confused as to what I was supposed to say, I hadn't done normal human interaction in a while.
"Do you remember anything after falling down the stairs?" He asks.
"Not really. Nothing."
"But you remember everything up until that point?"
"Yes." I was so robotic.
"That's normal I guess, I think it was most likely something related to an anxiety attack. Have you been having a lot of stress on you lately?"
No you idiot. Just the fact that I have to keep the people I love from death everyday."Not really any different from the normal amount of stress."
"You had a cut on your wrist which I stitched up, your ribs were bruised but there were no cracks or fractures. Your head is fine, but your right eyes is bruised and swollen as you may already be able to tell."
"Thank you." I say politely.
He shrug's, "you're be free to leave whenever you want."
"Um, Pete?" I ask biting my lip, "do you know how to get this thing off?" I raise my cast arm up.
"Of course, come by tomorrow and we'll have a look." After that he left the room, giving me a small nod.
Slowly I got up and slid my boots onto my feet. Wincing as I bend towards the floor. My head still throbbed as I walked towards the door. I past a small mirror hanging above a table, the right side of my face was blue and black and I looked terrible. My big blue eyes was red rimmed and bulging out of my hollowed skin. My cheek bones were sunken, which made my face look sharp and angular. This wouldn't be a bad thing normally, but with hair being a mane of curls and a braid, I looked more worn out than anything.
