Nandini had stayed back at home, as she still wasn't completely fine with everything that had happened. She was better, but she needed some time for that. With a very heavy heart Manik left the home post breakfast, to get back to hospital. He knew she would be fine with both the families around, but he wanted to be there himself.

"You okay?" He messaged her in his lunch break.

"Yep. You had lunch?" she replied immediately.

"I have to eat, sitting with Cabir. You had lunch?" he replied

"I will eat in sometime. I had a big glass of juice a while back, not hungry" she texted with an emoji pouting sadly. He chuckled seeing her message and typed back "You okay naa pakka ? Sleep for sometime after lunch, and please eat properly."

"I am FINE Manik, finish your lunch and get back to work. I will see you in the evening.

P.S : I do eat properly cause I love food, a teeny weeny bit more than you :P "

He frowned at her message despite knowing the fact, but replied nonetheless "I will eat and regarding the second half of your message, I will see what you have to say about the same when I get home"

"Haha, we will see.

P.S: I am not scared of you"

Nandini giggled imagining his face, when she felt someone sitting next to her in the living room.

"Hi bhabhi, hey baby, come to nini" she greeted Preeti and pulled a half asleep Ananya to her lap. Making Ananya rest her head on her chest, Nandini patted the child's head gently making her fall asleep in minutes. Nandini rested her head on Preeti's shoulder and closed her eyes.

"Not hungry?" Preeti asked and Nandini nodded her head in a No. Running her fingers in Nandini's hair Preeti spoke

"So how was last night? I hope you guys are using protection" Nandini's eyes widened in shock and surprise and she looked like a deer caught in headlights.

"Bhabhi, wh..what are you... you taking about" Nandini giggled nervously looking everywhere but the person sitting next to her.

"Nandu, Ananya didnt drop from the sky. So stop pretending. I saw the marks on your wrists and neck, and also the look on Manik's face when he was leaving for hospital. So now out with it" she said and Nandini gulped and nodded her head in a Yes.

"Vo... it was the second time, last night" Nandini almost spoke in a whisper, Preeti didnt speak anything and waited for Nandini to continue. "Vo when we went to Goa naa, then it was the first. Last night, I initiated it, because I wanted Manik close to me. We didnt use protection the first time, as it was totally unplanned and unexpected. But last night, we did." she completely and Preeti sighed.

"Nandu, you both are old and mature enough to decide about things like these, and I am certainly not against it. Its just that, be careful. You both are going through a rough patch, so I dont want you or Manik to do something that you would regret later. You both are still studying. Manik would leave in few months and then you have your Masters planned. I am not asking you guys to not do it. All I am saying is be careful. You are understanding my point baby?" she asked cupping Nandini's cheek and she nodded her head in a Yes, looking down.

"Nandu you dont have to feel bad or shy about it. All i am asking you is to be careful okay?" she said and Nandini gave her a small smile in reply. "Sure bhabhi. Dont tell anyone naa, please" Nandini requested with a puppy face making Preeti shake her head in disbelief.
