Two months later

"Manik, I want you to assist Dr. Priya, from Neuro, in your second half internship at our hospital" his senior informed and Manik smiled widely "Thank you so much sir. When am I supposed to report in Neuro?" He asked excited, for his new and dream role.

"You can check with her, how she wants you to work, where and when. Discuss with her before she leaves for the day, so that you can adjust your timings from next week." he spoke and Manik nodded his head in a Yes, noting down every instruction given to him.

"Sure sir, will do. Thank you once again for recommending my name to Neuro sir, it means a lot to me. I had always dreamt of joining Neuro, and I am planning my Masters in the same. This working experience would be of great help in my upcoming years." Manik spoke in a sincere tone making Dr. Shah smile.

"You earned it Manik. You dont have to say thanks for that. Just give your best like how you have been doing from the last two and a half months. You are a bright kid, and I am proud of you." Manik's happiness knew no bounds hearing those words from his senior. Unable to conceal his excitement anymore, he just went ahead and hugged his senior, mumbling a Thank you. Dr. Shah, who understood his emotions, just patted his back.

"Okay sir, i'll leave now. I have to go for rounds." Manik said breaking the hug and thanking his senior one more time, he jogged to the General ward to start his regular rounds.

During lunch break, he took his phone from the locker and messaged Dadu, Raj, Kishore and Nandini, that he would be joining Neuro in the last 3 months of his internship.

Nandini's phone beeped indicating a message and her smile widened seeing it was from Manik.

Congratulations Manik, let's celebrate tonight.  She replied and took a huge bite of the pizza that she was eating.

"Guys, I am soooooo happy today. You know Manik will be joining Neuro from next week. He always wanted to pursue his career in Neuro, and this would be the first step towards it. All his hard work paid off.  I just hope his mentor in Neuro is as good as Dr. Shah. He guided Manik really well in the last two and a half months, couple of more weeks, Manik will be in Neuro. I am so excited for him" Nandini  informed her friends who were having lunch together.

"That's great to hear Nandu. Today all of them are supposed to get results of their next 3 months of internship right?" Navya asked and Nandini nodded her head in a Yes.

"I just hope Cabir also gets what he wants" Navya said closing her eyes, sending a prayer to her beloved Matarani.

"He will dont worry. Waise which one does he want?" Arushi asked taking a bite from Nandini's pizza, making Nandini frown.

"He wants to continue in General Surgery. He thinks it fits him the best." She said looking at her phone again and again hoping to get a message from Cabir.

"That's nice. What about Harshad and Arya" Navya asked looking at Soha and Arushi

"Harshad wants Ortho"
