~*~Chapter 1~Trouble~*~
Pathetic. It's the one word I lean towards every time I think of my peers. All of their gossip, lies, and secrets are for what, fun? I mean I'm not complaining since I feed off of all of that. I pull it out of them trying to get them to lie to me. The lies in the air are nice but when it's to my face it's like nutella on toast, appetizing.
Of course at this point you're probably confused and freaked, well, the easy explanation starts here. My name is Jezebeth and I am the demon of falsehoods and lies. I was born into this world half human but my demon blood has been slowly taking over my human blood. On my eighteenth birthday I will finally become a full demon.
My father, Paymon, is one of the kings of hell. He is the master of ceremonies and governs 200 legions.
My mother, Kelley, is the human half of me and she knows nothing. All she knows is that I visit my father and the man she once loved Thursday thru Saturday. She is a dedicated catholic and forces me along with her every Sunday morning. Those who have only seen my stepfather think that he is my true father due to the similarities we pertain. Maybe that's why my mom fell for him so fast after my dad left her. I'm a spitting image of my father in the female version, therefore meaning, Jay looks like my dad.
My straight, jet black hair reaches half way down my back. My eyes, however, are what catch most people. They are gold, not brown or green but gold. When my anger reaches a certain point they then turn orange and makes pretty much any opponent step back out of fear, but due to being a demon their fear makes me feel powerful.
I know I seem heartless, but that's the demon in me towards those who hurt those I care for. I happen to be very protective over those I care about. Like for those who make fun of my little human sister, Mary.

"Jezebeth! This is the third time this week you've slept through my class and its Wednesday. Pay attention!"
"Ahhh. Well. You see, sir, it's not that easy. Your class is very..." I trailed of trying to think of wording, "very boring and pointless, to be quite honest."
"Pardon me?"
"I think you heard me right. I'm pretty sure I didn't stutter..." I pretended to think about it as I watched his face grow angrier as realization of everything I said dawned on him.
"Alright, go to the office, now!" The anger he was holding towards me sent jitters up and down my spine. There is no way I'm getting any more sleep now. I have way too much energy from that. Taking another glance at my teacher then at the surprised faces from the students made me burst out into laughter. Which, I continued until I was out of the class heading to the office.
Pretty much I was aiming for a couple days of suspension with that little act. One of my best friends is in town and I plan on spending my days off from school with him.
One great advantage about being a demon is that we don't need cell phones to communicate all we have to do is send a little thought to each other through our minds and bam communication. So I sent a quick message to Kobal telling him I might be free soon and stepped into the office. Kobal is the demon of hilarity. So needless to say when we are together we have a fun time.
I had to sit outside of the office for what seemed like forever. Seconds after that thought passed through my head I discovered what was taking so long. I felt a sudden urge of power ripple through the school telling me my father was here. I looked up as the power grew stronger to see my mother, Jay, and my father were walking down the hall. Once my dad reached me he broke out into a huge grin but covered it quickly sending a silent message to me.
