~*~ ^CHAPTER 2^ ~ Game Time~*~

The second I pulled up outside of Gaiter’s, the bar just out of town, I saw my blonde haired friend leaning against his black Camaro. His face lit up in a smile that reached his blue eyes; before I could even get off my bike he had me in a hug.

“Kobal, I missed you too, but it’s really hard to balance the bike with you hugging me like that. At least let me put the kick stand down.”

He laughed like a crazy man at me. Before letting me go and speaking up. “You know, Jez, if you were you know, taller, you wouldn’t have had such a problem.”

I punched him on his arm exclaiming for him to shut his pie hole. Of course he started to laugh again when I said pie hole, but this time I joined him before getting off my bike.

“So what are our plans for today, sir?”

An evil grin spread across his face as he headed towards his trunk. When he popped it open, there sat a case of 5-hour energy. I knew exactly where he was going with this; he emailed me the article on this a couple months ago. He highlighted his favorite line in the article it described everything and made me laugh at the same time. The exact line, “Just drop a 5-Hour Energy into a can of Four Loko and BOOM! You've got yourself an evening of fun. Or heart attacks.”

I rubbed my hands together, “Oh this is going to be fun." Hopefully there will be younger college kids in there with strong healthy hearts. We're hoping this strategy just gets their adrenaline pumping so we can feed off of that without actually killing them. We definitely aren't those type of people.

The second we stepped into the small bar everyone’s heads snapped towards us; the first face I noticed was Minor. My eyes lit up the second I saw him, but I refused to acknowledge him. I was still mad at that green-eyed asshole. When he looked at me I glared at him. He may be my boyfriend, but that doesn’t give him the right to tell me what I can and can’t wear. He offered me a smile that makes my façade falter. So I turn my back to him and place my evil grin back on my face. “Let’s get the party started, aye?”

Kobal nodded as if he were a kid being asked if he wanted some ice cream. I just laughed before searching the room for the perfect group to mingle with. In the corner to my right was a group of two guys and a girl that looked to be in college. I nodded my head towards them before talking to Kobal through our minds.

~ I think that group over there would be the best. They’d never even think twice about it.

Kobal didn’t say anything but he didn’t have to, his grin said it all. However; another voice did break through my mind.

~What are you two planning?

~That is none of your business, Minor.

He didn’t reply but I caught a glimpse of him punching the wall. I just mumbled under my breath but loud enough so Kobal could hear me. “Damn boy.”

Kobal shook his head and put on a smile as we reached the group. “Hey guys, my friend and I were wondering if we could join you. You guys all look about our age, kinda thought it’d be fun.”

At first they all exchanged looks before shrugging. Then one of the boys spoke up. “Yeah, sure, it’s a free country. Anyhow, I’m Marshall, he’s Alex, and blondie over there is Leah.”

I spoke next, “Nice to meet you all. I’m Jezebeth, but you can call me Jez or Jezzie, and this here is Kobal. So, you guys ready to get this party started?”

Marshall was checking me out the entire time I was talking, and Alex was sharing glances with Kobal as they both tried to hold back laughter. If I weren’t aiming for some fun with them I would’ve broken his nose already, but also I was secretly hoping Minor was seeing this.
