Megan's POV

"MEGAN!" Madison yelled, the change in her tone was obvious.

"Bathroom break." I said to Princess Mary.

She gave me the stink eye, "If you try to let them free..."

"I won't, your majesty." I bowed before scurrying out of the room.

I opened the door and was immediately encased in darkness. There was a scrapping noise on the floor, moving closer to me.

I used my telepathy and found three minds in the room. One of them felt hostile.

I pressed my newest communicator, which signaled the cave, not Martian Manhunter. It beeped, assurance that the S.O.S. had been sent.

Seconds later, there was a swoosh as something slammed into me and I elbowed it, but a human hand covered my mouth, before putting a finger against my lip and then letting go.

Madison got off and little letters appeared next to my eyes.

Get the kids out now.

I backed into the doorway and immediately after getting into the hallway, the thick black fog was gone.

I ran down the stairs.

"Everyone out now. The witches have escaped and they're using acid to burn the house down." I told them.

"Oh no!" They all scrambled up and ran out the front door.

"What is going on? Mr. Kent told me that bad people knew about the kids." Mr. Marvin asked me.

"I'm not sure, but something is in that room with Madison and Laura." I told him, "Get the kids away."

Suddenly, the window broke open and Madison was jumping out of a two story window with a cloud of darkness behind her and a kid nestled in her arms.

They hit the floor and rolled, just as a giant black beast launched out after them.

There was a flash of yellow and a gust of wind as Kid Flash sped by and grabbed the two, speeding them back over.

"What is that thing?" Robin asked.

"Whatever it is, it's about to die." Madison snarled, with a furious look in her eye that I had never seen before.

She ran forward and we followed quickly, attacking it.

Superboy tried to punch it, but it was too fast and put a paw on his chest, pinning him to the ground. I tried to telepathically lift it up, but it wasn't working. Kaldur was able to slide it back a little with a blast of water, but the thing didn't budge much.

Robin's explosives failed and the only thing I felt in it's mind was anger. It was very angry.

There was a shout and it looked up as Madison jumped off the roof, a metal pipe in her hands. It opened it's mouth and she slid right in, the pipe going clean through the monster's mouth and out of the other side.

It screeched and stumbled sideway, releasing Superboy. He gasped for a moment, trying to recover his breath. Madison was dumped out, soaking wet on the ground.

It turned, setting it's eyes on her and she turned invisible, but it was obvious seeing something as it charged.

Superboy jumped forward and placed a solid punch to it's jaw, sending it skidding backwards.

Suddenly, there was a flash of blue and red as Superman flew in and grabbed it. He flew straight up into the sky until we couldn't see him anymore.

"Madison!" Someone screamed.
