Kaldur's POV

The bioship door opened and Connor came walking out, carrying a large box on his shoulders. Batman has asked him and Megan to go get him more supplies for the cave.

"Did you get everything?" Batman asked.

"Everything plus groceries." Megan replied, holding two large bags of groceries.

Connor set down the box and I walked over, using my knife to cut off the rope around it.

Artemis, Zatanna, and Madison walked in through the door.

"I'm glad you're back Zatanna." Artemis said.

"Does this mean you'll be joining the team?" Madison questioned.

"I don't know, Zatara is pretty protective. I wish he would give me some space." She huffed.

Suddenly, there was a crash and I whirled around. The containers in the air were spilled everywhere and Batman, Zatara, and Red Tornado had all disappeared.

"Oh no."

Eventually, after going through things and attempting to contact the League, we realized that every adult in the world, ages 18 and up, had disappeared.

Every. Singe. One.

Kids globally were panicking and there was no government to help them. Just older kids, who weren't always much better.

Robin and Zatanna were in the cave, working on the crisis from afar. The rest of us were out trying to help as many kids as we could.

I was having a hard time getting in touch with Atlantis, but no doubt things were similar there. Luckily, it was smaller and had more trained minors than the surface world. They would have things handled well.

"This is Robin. Zatanna is going to try the locator spell soon. Head back. Everyone." Robin said through our long distance comm units.

Everyone gave their affirmations.

"Kaldur and Wally. You two and I are very well known superheroes. The three of us will send out a message of reassurance to the world." Robin instructed.

"Good. Idea. I'll be there shortly." I told him, spotting the zeta tube.

One I was back in the cave, I saw Madison walking ahead of me. She must have just arrived too.

I sped up and walked next to her.

"You ready to let the whole world see you?" She asked.

"I am willing to do what it takes to help." I replied.

"Always so tough. Don't you have emotions, solider?" She joked.

"In that case, yes, I am a little nervous." I smiled.

She laughed.

Madison turned and went into the main room. I went to Robin and did the recording with him and Wally.

Moments later, Zatanna was pinpointing the location of the magic event on Roanoke island.

"You did it." Robin told her.

"The fun hasn't started yet. We still have to deal with whatever lunatic thought that poofing adults was a good idea." Madison said.
