Chapter 4 // meet up part 2

~Wilbur's POV~

As I'm talking to my friends I notice an Uber pull up I look over to see if its y/n and Niki. it was. y/n got out first and Niki go too shortly after, I was glad to see y/n come to the meet up after her panic attack about it I wasn't sure she'd show up. As she walked towards I noticed her hands shaking, she put them in her hoodie pocket as she got closer thinking no one had noticed. she said hi to everyone and introduced herself, then she looked at me and said "hi Will, its so nice to meet you" in a calm and sweet voice. I could tell she was trying so hard to hide her shaking voice. so I pulled her into a hug.

~Your POV~

Wilbur pulls me into a hug so I hug him back, I wasn't expecting a hug he caught me off guard. As I hug him back my mind is racing with all the thoughts I had tried suppress, then my hands start shaking more, as he pulls out of the hug he whispers to me and says "its all okay y/n I promise". I nod and smile at him. I don't know why but it really calmed me down, Wilbur was the first to go in, he keeps the door open as everyone walks in. You're the last to make your way inside you say thank you to Wilbur and smile as he closes the door and walks behind you sitting at the table that the others had chosen.

You all make conversation everyone ask you things about yourself, because they wanted to get to know you. You had talked to Tubbo once when you were on Wilbur's stream, you all go along well, you felt comfortable with them they all had lovely personality's and they were all super kind. you all ordered food and drinks and once you'd eaten you were discussing where to go next.

you all made a decision to walk around for a little bit and then go to an arcade that was close by. you walked for a good 30 minutes before deciding to go to the arcade, you and Wilbur walked together a little bit behind everyone but not too behind for it to be noticeable. he asks you how you're dealing with it and you tell him that you're okay and you like the group and that you're comfortable around them he says that's thats good and he seems really happy to hear that.

you get to the arcade and you all chose things you want to do in there, you see a dance game in the far corner and ask Wilbur to follow you you ask him to play it with you and he accepts happily.

"I'm going to beat you at this you know" you say laughing, "oh just you wait and see" he says giggling. you both get on the machine and start your game you follow the instructions on the screen and you don't pay attention to anything else but beating him, you look over at Wilbur's screen and see you're in the lead. you start giggling causing you to get Wilbur's attention he looks over at your screen. "oh shit" he says giggling.

the game comes to end with you winning and Wilbur losing by 20 points you laugh and let out a victorious "told you so" you both start laughing as you walk back to the others, you're significantly shorter than Wilbur as he rests his arm on your head, you look up and pretend to be mad about it. he looks at your fake mad face and giggles at you, you couldn't help but giggle too.

You both go and find other arcade games to play, all of you spend 4 hours in the arcade without realising how long you've actually been in there. it was now 6 pm, Tommy and Niki come to find you two and tell you what time it is. you were both shocked you walked back to the rest of the group and when you get there George suggest going to get something to eat as you all were hungry you agreed.

All of you find a restaurant to eat at, this time while your getting seated Wilbur sits next to you. You assume its because he wants to make sure you're okay, you order and get a little bit of anxiety while ordering but you cover it up because you felt it wasn't important.

After you guys eat you walk around and find a small park you all go and hangout there for a while you and Wilbur head straight for the swings because you're both little kids at heart. you both giggle as you run for the swings, and you both get on the swings and start talking about how you've been today and if you're anxiety was too bad you mention that it wasn't that bad, then you got talking about where you were staying you told him what hotel you were at and he tells you his hotel isn't far from yours.

You and Wilbur both lived in Brighton and it seemed you and him both had the same idea to get a hotel instead of getting the train home the same day. All of you guys had been talking for a while you had lovely conversations with everyone you wish you could meet up more as you realise it is 11 pm you all exchange contact details like phone numbers and discord usernames, then everyone heads home while you and Niki go to your hotel and Wilbur goes to his.

you got back to the hotel and you jumped on your bed to relax and you went on TikTok for about 2 hours and then you get an unexpected call from Wilbur and you answer

"hello" you say confused. "hey y/n, I was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk I can't sleep" he says hopefully "oh yeah of course I can't sleep either" you say happily accepting "okay ill be like 8 minutes see you in a Little bit" he says before ending the call. You smile and put a warmer outfit on you chose yoga pants and an oversized t-shirt. you get a message saying that Wilbur is outside...
