Chapter 27: Moria's Confession

Ben sighed as he listened to Laurel spew out her case, then out of nowhere she had brought him up pacificly. "Mr.Reilly would you please go up to stand?" She asked him. Ben shrugged and did as she asked. "You know what to do?" The Judge asked him with a bored expression. Haha, even the damn Judge didn't want to be here. Ben nodded "Yes, your honor I do" He nodded to Ben and turned back to Laurel "Present your case so I can go get lunch" he said more bored then earlier. Laurel nodded and walked up to Ben.

"So Mr.Reilly it has come to my attention that your rich. 1.5 Billion Dollar's rich to be exact, am I right?" she asked him. Ben nodded, Laurel smikred "I see, so your in cahoots with the Queen family seeing as your both rich?" She asked him once more. Ben shrugged "To be honest, I have only known Oliver Queen for a few days at best. But it really shouldn't matter whether or not I am friends with the Queen family. You were friends with them aswell, seeing as both you and you dead sister were sleeping with him".

The whole court room widened there eye's at this. Ben didn't care and decided to continue seeing as Laurel didn't return the jab "It has also come to my attention that your ex boyfriend is dead, and seeing as Moria Queen may or may not have been envoled in the Undertaking. You blame her for Tommy, to an extension you blame Oliver for it aswell. Seeing as you were sleeping with him just 24 hours before the first quake hit" Ben said with a knowing smirk. Laurel began ro cry and ran out of the room.

The Judge sighed, but there was some amusement on his face. "We'll take an early recess" he said and slammed his gavel on the table. Ben got up and met up with the Queen's "You didn't need to take it that far" Oliver said with a whisper. Ben shrugged "All is fair in the game of law, she said some things. I said some things. As of right now she looking for any reason to get Moria put in jail, this is war for her since I brought up Tommy. She blames your whole family Oliver, not just Moria" He whispered back. "I know" Oliver said with a sigh.

A Half Hour Later

Ben and the family sat in there own waiting room for the recess to end. "So what do we do now?" Moria asked. Ben took out a tablet and unlocked it with his password. "I need to find what Laurel had planned, I hate dragging something out so I will get you out today" Moria smiled "T-Thank you Mr.Reilly" she told him. Ben nodded "Thank the playboy, he's the one that asked me to be here. Your old Lawyer tried to get Thea to break up with Roy Harper, I won't be doing that. I can't stand people you do thing's like that".

Ben said and took his to break into Laurel's email account, what he saw was interesting. Apparently Moira had an affair with Malcolm Merlin a few years prior to the undertaking. Robert Queen was cheating on her and she felt the need to let down her walls just for a few seconds "Well that could be a problem" He said and showed her the email to Laurel from Adam Donner. Moria sighed and Oliver sighed "Mom, it this true?" He asked her. Moria nodded "I'm sorry Oliver, it was when your fsther was cheating on me.with Isabel Rochev"
