Chapter 12: Lance Family Dinner Part 1

After going back to his Apartment, Ben took a shower and put some clean colthes on. He then made his way back to Laurel's apartment, Sara opened the door and let him in "So what have you been up Ben, other then being rich I mean?" She asked with a grin as she closed the door back. Ben grinned himself. "Nothing really. I have my College degree and I'm super rich, so I'm bored mostly" he told jer truthfully. "What about you?" Ben asked her.

"I met someone, her name is Nyssa. She has also been training me to become like you and Oliver. I want to be a Hero" She told him out of ear shot of her family. Ben nodded "Well I'm rooting for you Sara, saving people is my top favorite thing to do. Other then get layed, though I havn't been in a real relationship since Felicia. So just a few nightly sessions" He told her with a chuckle. Sara chuckled also as they walked into the kitchen to find a sit at the table.

Dinner Time

The pizza arrived and the Lance family sat diwn with Ben sitting next to Sara on the right side of the table. "So what do you do for a living Ben, work wise I mean?" Quentin asked as he grabbed some plates and handed them around. Ben took his and layed comfortably infront of him. "I don't have a job per say, but I mostly just invent stuff that could help the world and possibly get me more money. Not that I need it, but I just like making things" Ben told him. Quentin smiled and nodded "Sounds good to me kid".

Ben nodded and grabbed a slice of the cheesy pie "Other then that through, nothing really" Ben told him and dug in to the pizza. Sara smiled at him ams turned to Quentin "So what do you think of the new Vigilante in Starling City?" She asked him. Quentin put a hand to his chin "Well, he saved Laurel so I have no problems with the guy and he left the bad guys alive without needing to kill them unlike a certain hooded guy. Though the guys that do Forensic Science hate him, they were not able to pick apart his web stuff he used".

Ben smirked on the inside, but had to stop as Quentin asked him a question "Are you any good at that Forensic stuff?" He asked. Ben nodded "I'm ok at it, though I never found a hobby in it. So I just stick to the usual science" Ben replied and took a bit of his pizza. "Well that's good, I was hoping I could get you a job and you can help us out" Quentin said a little sadly. Ben smiled "Well how about come down there amd take a look at the stuff, maybe I could figur....." He was cut off at his Spider Sense went off.

Three men soon jumped though the window dressed in black, they were followed by a woman in black aswell. Bem sighed as shit began to click as he stood up "Your dating that Nyssa huh?" He asked Sara. She grinned sheepishly "No?" She said. Ben sighed "Hello Scarlet Spider, this does not involve you. Beloved it's time to go home" Nyssa said and removed her mask and hood. Sara took a fighting stance "I just got my family in the same room, do you really think I'll be going anywhere with you?".
