Chapter 33: Heading To Central City

The Next Day

Ben sat in his lab after a early morning shower, he was casually thinking back to his talk with Oliver yesterday afternoon. Apparently Moria's old Lawyer came crawing back on her hands and knees, so Ben had to back out of that. Which he was alright with, the whole lawyer thing was far to troublesome anyhow. So he didn't have shit to do today, maybe he could go to Central City and check up on Barry Allen. The kid had been struck by lighting during massive storm, Harrison Wells's Particle Accelerator exploded.

That was interesting aswell, Harrison Wells had purposely put every thing he had used in the build out for the public to see. Ben was not an expert on Particle Accelerator's but the layout for it looked magnificent. Why it exploded baffled him to no means, ethier they changed it up at the last second or it was purposefully destroyed. If that was the case, then Central City had an even bigger problem. That orange light they showed was more then likely dark matter. Which in it self was not good at all.

Ethier way, it was not good. He stood up after making his mind up, he was heading to Central City to find out more. He grabbed his coat and locked down his house, Sara and Nyssa had moved out late last night to get there own apartment. Which was just alright with him, he had no problem with it. They were annoying anyhow, and so Ben set off onto his new journey "If Oliver Queen stops by or Sara or even Nyssa, tell them I shall be back in a couple day's. I'll catch ypu later Karen" he told his AI with a smile.

600 Miles Later

Ben stepped out of his car and made his way into the Central City Hospital, there were doctors everywhere running about and in a hurry. A lot of people must have been hurt in the explosion. After asking a nurse where he could find Barry Allen's room and signing an autograph for that same nurse, Ben made his way way up to the forth floor. Arriving there, he had seen two people in his room. Opening the door, Ben walked inside to see Barry laying there on the bed. "Y-Your Ben Reilly, Barry is a huge fan" the girl told him.

"Ya he told me that much when we met in Starling City" he said with a soft chuckle. "M-My name is Iris West, and this is my dad Joe. We took in Barry in after his father was put in jail" She told him and looked back to Barry. Ben nodded and shook her and Joe's hand "It's nice to meet both of you, and ya I read that online"..."What do you think really happened, from one Scientist to another? Or in his case anyhow" Joe asked him. Ben scratched his neck a bit "Do you really want my homest opinion?"

Ben asked him. Joe crossed his arms "Ya let's hear it" Joe said, Iris nodded herself as she wanted his answer aswell. Ben nodded "Henry Allen didn't do it" he told the west family with his most honest opinion. "The proof is all there, and thinking that Henry didn't do it is not smart at all" Joe told him. Ben shrugged "What proof? None of you were there, Barry Allen was. So that in it's self should tell you there is more to that story, then you crap cops at the whatever crap Police Department believe. That's my honest opinion".
