Chapter 21: Meeting Ra's

Ben shot a web at the temple and swung down to it. He landed on the ground softly and made his way inside, there were atleast seven members guarding the hallway leading to where Ra's and Nyssa might have been. He looked up and saw a vent, Ben smikred at this 'No matter who you are, you can never go without a ventilation system' he thought to himself and webbed up into the vents. He was not spotted, but he was heard alright.

All seven League member's were now on guard, some were running outside and some were  into running to the large room at the end of the hallway. Ben crawed through the vents and stopped just above the large room. "Master, there is intruder in the temple" Someone said. "Sabat, no need to worry. I can sense that this person is not a threat. I think he want's to talk to me, or possibly Nyssa about something. Tell the other's to stand down, and bring me Nyssa".

Ben listened closely and nodded to himself. 'Well Ra's that was unexpected' He thought to himself. 'Then again, the man is over 500 years old. Being wise and all good shit is a walk in the park for him. He has to keep his man in check somehow right?' he thought to himself once more. "Welp game time" he said and busted through the vent. He landed just behind the man and got on one knee. "I see, hiding above us. That was quite the little trick you pulled using the vents" Ra's said and turned around.

Ben nodded "Sorry sir, I needed to speak with you about a person that might be in your group. I've dealt with League members before and they do not know when to listen" Ra's laughed at this "That is true, but can you blame them?" He asked. Be shook his head and stood up. "I suppose not" just a few seconds later, Sabat came in with Nyssa. "Father I was in the middle of something" she said with a sigh. Ra's nodded "I know hun, but the person here needs to speak with us. So please, will tell us?".

Ben nodded "I'm looking for a girl, her name is Sara Lance. She may also go by the name of Ta-er al-Sahfer (The Canary)" This one statement got them to widened there eye's "What do you know of my Beloved?" Nyssa asked drew her bow back at him. Ben nodded unfazed "If you two are a thing on this earth then, yes. Judging by your suprise, I'd say she left?" Ra's nodded. "After Al Sah-Her's little Earthquake stunt in Starling city, she killed some of my men and left to attempt to check up on her family in Starling City".

Ben sighed "Well shit, I guess you are going after her then?" He asked Nyssa nodded "When we get word of her, I'll be heading there myself" She said while still pointing an Arrow at him. Ben nodded and removed his red mask and white hood "My name is Ben Reilly, you can also call Al-Ankabut (The Spider) if you would like" Ra's smiled at this "The Spider huh? A most fitting name Mr.Reilly" Ben nodded at this "I would like to strike a deal with you sir, if you would not mind".

"A deal you say? What kind of deal Al-Ankabut?" Ra's asked. "I would like to more or less give up my life in order for her to be free of The League, she doesn't even know who I am here. And yet, I still feel this way about her" This got Nyssa to widened her eye's, Ra's however simply chuckled "The Multiverse can be a tricky thing, what Earth are you from?" He asked. "Earth 616 sir, I met Sara on Lian Yu five years ago and saved her life. She got home safely, and I was friends with her. As of yesterday though, I'm stuck here".
