The Next Morning
After a well needed rest, the three came back to the hospital and went into Barry's room and sat down. Barry was freaking out, but in a good way. "I-I got freaking superspeed" He said with a grin. Ben smiled "So I was right, interesting" Barry raised an eyebrow at him "You know, you say interesting alot" he said and called him out. Ben blushed and rubbed his neck "I-It's a verbletick, I get it from my father" Ben said and sort of grinned. Barry shrugged "That's cool, but you want to know what's even cooler? I got freaking superspeed".
Ben chuckled as did Joe and Iris. "Well kid I think you were right about your Father and I plan to help you solve his case" Joe told him with a smile. Barry nodded "T-Thank you Ben" Barry told him. "Yes, we are very greatful for what you did" Iris told him. Ben nodded and stood up "Anything for a fellow superhero" Barry and the West family raised there eyebrow "Superhero?" Joe asked him. Ben nodded and jumped onto the ceiling, He stuck and stayed there. "You can call me The Scarlet Spider".
He told them and jumped back onto the ground. Barry widened his eye's "F-From Starling City, d-do you work with The Arrow?" He asked. Ben nodded and grabbed ahold of his neckless to show off his suit. "Occasionally, but we will be working together alot very shortly" he said and deactivated his suit. "The Mirakuru thing right?" Barry asked him. Ben nodded "Yes, I see he told you about that. Well that's good, but I should really be taking my leave now. Harrison Wells is not to be trusted. The minute he walked into the hospital yesterday, my Spider Sense went crazy".
700 Miles Later
Ben walked back into his house and slumped onto the couch "Ben Reilly" A voice spoke behind him. Ben groaned and sat up to look at him "Crisis time already?" He asked. That rights, it was The Monitor. The man that had stuck him inside this damn mess whole of a world. "No, this about waking The Flash up early. You pushed the Crisis back and now it won't happen until 2035" Ben raised an eyebrow at this "The Flash, you mean Barry Allen. And wouldn't that be a good thing, pushing it back I mean. To give us more time to prepare?" Ben asked him.
The Monitor nodded "Yes to both questions, The Flash is Barry Allen and it being moved back is perfect. Since it was originally intended for 2030 anyhow. Though with Eboard Thawne changing history and what not, it moved the Crisis up to 2024" The Monitor told him. Ben nodded "Ok cool, then that mean I got more time to live life here on this fun little Earth" He said with a sigh. The Monitor sighed as well, showing a but of emotion. "I'm sorry Scarlet Spider, but I brought you a gift. One that would make stay here whether or not you did not like it".
Ben raised an eyebrow "What's that?" He asked. The Monitor nodded and snapped his fingers, suddenly a blue portal emerged. A person emerged and ran to him "B-Ben I missed you" she said and hugged him hard. Ben widened his eye's as he looked to The Monitor. He smiled and nodded "I'll be taking my leave now, oh and I left instructions with Ms.Lance" He told him and vanished. Ben shook his head and hugged her back "I-I can't believe your here Sara" he said with a large smile. She pulled back and looked into his eye's "Kiss me like you miss me".
