Chapter 24: Mirakuru Returns

Oliver sighed "None taking" he told him. Ben nodded "So you putting The Hood back on?" Ben asked him. Oliver sighed more "I can't, this city already has a hero. The Scarlet Spider has been all over the news, more so then us" Oliver replied. Ben nodded, he even heard Felicity and John sigh. "I understand, Laurel misses him aswell man. She hates me probably as much as she hates you, under the mask I mean. I may have superpowers, but I'm still only one man. There is also a much bigger threat headed here then Merlin was".

Oliver widened his eye's "W-Who?" He asked. Ben removed a file from his jacket and headed it to him. "Not who, but a what. I just recently fought a man that had more strengh then a regular man should have, I put him in jail but I ran some blood before hand. He was injected with something, something I havn't seen in almost five years"..."M-Mirakuru" Oliver replied, Ben nodded. "W-What is Mirakuru?" Asked John. Oliver sighed "A Serum created by the Japanese in World War 2, I seen it for myself first hand what it can do to a man".

"The Island?" John asked with a angry sigh. Oliver nodded "Yes, his name was Slade Wilson. I killed him though" this even got Ben to raise an eyebrow 'If Slade took it here, then Ivo succeeded on this Earth. That is not good then, Slade Wilson doesn't seem like guy to just die by a few Arrows. Oliver if what I'm thinking is true, then we have a much bigger threat then some Japense Super Serum' He didn't let his thoughts be known, he needed to more research more coming to a real conclusion.

Later That Night

Ben sighed at his computer, he couldn't find anything on Slade Wilson. Either the man was really dead or he didn't want to be found, he needed to look into it more. "Al-Ankabut" He turned around and smiled "Hello Nyssa, I suppose you heard of Sara then?" He asked her as she stepped into the light. Nyssa nodded "Yes, I don't quite know where she is at though. I just heard storys of a girl beating up men for attcking girls" Ben nodded at this "Your in luck then, I been keeping a few tabs I'm her over the last few months"

Nyssa rasied an eyebrow "You found her?" She asked him. "We kind of had run with each other a few month's ago, I was in the middle of ruining a sting operation around Christmas time. It was a sex trafficking ring for widows, apparently the new hype was desperate women who had lost there husband's in the Quake. Anyhow, she helped me take the place down and put the guys behind bars. I followed her to her little hide out, and she is taking care of a young women named Sin who attacked a month prior".

"Were you spotted?" Nyssa asked. Ben shrugged "If she did see me, she hasn't capitalized on it" Bem told her and went to grab his suit. Nyssa nodded "What happen to the suit from whem we met?" She aksed him. Ben sighed "It kind of got thorn apart fighting a man who had been ejected with some Super Serum. Though I'm sure you know of Mirakuru" Nyssa nodded "Father knows alot about it actually, he fought in World War 2 against Japan. Sara also told me of it aswell" Ben noddnd finished putting his suit on.
